I remember those days. I have actually gone back years and reviewed what I have been missing.
Once again Gray says his nemesis is windmills when Alex and Danny are the ones who makes the gta boards, I can imagine them watching this and saying "WHAT ARE WE, CHOPPED LIVER?!?!"
The windmill torture predates them. The turbines are his true worst enemy; Alex and Danny are but figureheads.

Recently, I watched an older Gray vid, Trailer Park Mechanic, where he said there's a simulator for everything. "Put a noun, Simulator, and a year. And bam, your own simulator game"(sic). His words have aged like a fine hooch after years sitting in the Florida sun.
18:48 as an engineer with way too much education in mechanics and aerospace, can confirm the monster truck has better aerodynamic characteristics than the tank.
Though that high in orbit gravity has a greater effect than aerodynamics.
I hope Alex and Danny are watching cause some of these level could be translated into some painful GTA boards.

18:00 - Fun facts: When Gray overtakes the Shuttle, he does so from a relative standstill, but both Gray and the Shuttle were already traveling at orbital speeds. This means the relative speed difference is actually quite small. We're talking a fraction of a fraction of a percent.
Furthermore, the Shuttle appears to be executing a reentry burn, as evidenced by the engine exhaust and the plasma on the nose of the Shuttle. This is also evidence that the Shuttle is slowing down, as it is experiencing drag from the atmosphere.
Additionally, the presence of smoke plumes means the Shuttle is using its atmospheric engines (SSMEs). So is Gray, but the plumes are almost nonexistent, further showing that he is much farther out of the atmosphere, and experiencing less drag.
Expanding on that logic, the typical altitude the Shuttle began its reentry burn was ~45mi, while the orbital altitude of the Space Station is ~245mi. This can only mean that the Shuttle was ~200mi below Gray, who was rendezvousing with the Station. So, if the Shuttle appeared to be normally sized, but was in fact 200mi away from Gray, that can only mean the Shuttle was actually much, much, MUCH BIGGER. I'll leave the relative scale comparison to the mathematicians.
So, if this Shuttle was in fact much larger than the actual Shuttle, then the surface area in which the atmosphere would be pushing back on it during reentry would multiply exponentially, further slowing it down.
In the end, it would fair to say that Gray NOT outracing the Shuttle in this situation would be far more surprising of an outcome, providing Gray did nothing at all. Of course, he could always go backwards, which would help to slow down his initial velocity to match or drop below the ever-increasing disparity between himself and the Shuttle.
