Mercy that water is beautiful! Great video 👍🏻👍🏻
It was clear for sure. Thanks for watching
Yet another great video of a great outing and getting the line tight. I see you have a couple of ducks in the JEEP.
Appreciate it! Yeah I got ducked the other day. 😂
@@Itchin2Fish 🙃
Great video! Thanks so much for sharing and taking us along on your adventure. Some really good topwater action. Enjoyed watching! Keep doing what you do my friend! #Itchin'2Fish rocks!
Appreciate it my friend! It was a slow day especially with a bunch of anglers in front of us. We pulled some out though on finesse jigs. Tight lines!
That torpedo is fire here in Puerto Rico with the Peacockbass.
Good to know friend! On my bucket list for sure. Thanks for the view and comment
Enjoyed the video!
Appreciate the view and comment! Tight lines!
@@Itchin2Fish I’m considering a Shoalie or LT2. Any thoughts?
@@sauce_gone_fishing what do you fish more frequently? Rivers I would go Shoalie, Lakes would be LT. Most versatile for both applications would be LT. More stable and better tracking would be the LT. I love the Shoalie for river fishing. Great response to moving water. The shoalie will feel tippy at first cuz of the rounder bottom vs LT, but take it out and lean in it to find your secondary stability. Once you found it, you will be super confident in moving water, edding and standing as you saw in this video. Both are great choices, but the Shoalie shines in moving water but will still be good for open. Just not as efficient than the LT. Also if you do a lot of camping, the LT will have better storage.
@@Itchin2Fish thank you!
love that topwater....what size line do you usually use for creeks and rivers
Topwater 20 pound mossy braid. 10 pound flourocarbon for mid column spinner baits and cranks. 8 pound flouro for Ned, finesse jigs on bottom for shallow creeks. Tight lines!
Smallies are addicting. Great video. Got any tips for the upper ouachita river heading up there either this weekend or next.
Appreciate it brother! Jigs equal pigs on that river. I like finesse stuff especially low water levels. 3” paddle tail swimbaits are great for numbers as well as tricking a big fish. I like the 6th Sense Divine ones. Great boy of water with bigs, tight lines. Of course have a top water bait on like the plopper.
I live in Hot Springs and fish the Ouachita frequently. There's a color of grub that's kind of a pearly white/translucent with black flakes that the fish love here, I fish it on a beetlespin setup with a silver spinner.
Awesome thanks
I bought 4 finesse jigs from jades, I haven't been able to fish them due to me totalling my truck in late February! Do you ever bend the hooks?
Dang man! I hear ya. I totaled mine in March sorry you are going through it too.
I haven’t bent any hooks yet. The ones I get have the 3/0 size hooks though.
