- Kayla walked into a restaurant to use the restroom, but the simple request was immediately denied by the owner. According to him, there was no place for people “like her” at his upscale establishment.
Kayla stood her ground, yet the man kept making pitiful and racist excuses. Eventually, he claimed that the restroom was for customers only, so she purchased an expensive bottle of wine.
The man grudgingly showed her the restroom, and in order to prove her point, Kayla decided to enjoy her overpriced drink at the restaurant. But, shortly after, she was dragged into the security guard’s office, where the owner had fabricated evidence that Kayla stole from him…

The title is a bit misleading. She wasn't just "denied entry." She was robbed, taken hostage and _extorted._ That's incredible.
Actually, the restaurant manager failed to reimburse her for the money he charged for the bottle of wine she never had the opportunity to open.
I live in the south. Work with people of many colors, races, religions, and salaries. I have never seen anyone treated like this.

The way everyone at the party was ready to not believe or help her. ugh. They were quietly judging her too and likely would have reacted differently or confirmed by asking questions if she looked more like them.
I believe that the hatred of whites for blacks in the West is because the Western peoples were originally offensive and barbaric colonies, so no matter how much they try to develop, hatred will be passed on generation after generation, unlike the Islamic world, in which everyone was equal.
Because the Eastern peoples are civilized peoples and their nature is sound, including the African peoples, they converted to Islam and built buildings, schools, universities, and mosques. Their wealth increased and everyone began working for themselves because they are civilized peoples like Asians, Arabs, Persians, and Indians.
Love this story. Guys were so happy to see their boss. Thought they would have been rewarded for catching a thief!! Not only lost their job, but will loose more than that from the lawsuit!!!
They were extremely petty and dimwitted. Had they just let her use the washroom and not framed her for stealing cutlery, they wouldn't have done such clearly stupid deeds and not gotten fired.

Being unemployed is the first thing; the next thing to come would be worse than the first thing. The second thing will come in case the former employees try to pursuit employment and they would need to submit the last employer for whom they worked. When that former employer is contacted by the intended employers, the two candidates would be considered with unsatisfactory references. This fact would be a bar from those two guys from being eligible for employment.
This video had very realistic characterizations. The woman that came off the street played a very convincing tech entrepreneur. The manager played a very convincing morally bankrupt opportunist that happened to be racist. In the end the manager quickly escalated from theft from the restaurant to false arrest/detainment to blackmail, false imprisonment, extortion, grand theft, and kidnapping. The manager and security guards should have been removed in handcuffs, but the way the episode ended they may wish they had the protection of criminal law, because they will have to seek bankruptcy protection from the years of expense they will have to spend money to defend themselves in civil court. This was a very satisfying DramatizeMe and you did not disappoint when the restaurant owner turned out to be a character portrayed by Filip Walcerz. Big tech depends upon lawyers to defend intellectual property. That is why Microsoft and Apple is worth billions and trillions. Thank you for a very satisfying episode that reflects silicon valley culture.

@@AliAliqabi yes, unfortunately racism is real and it does happen to some of us. That’s life though…. We can’t control what others are doing but we can control how we react to the situation. I guess it’s not too bad nowadays but going back 30 or more years ago,.. it was extremely bad. Now I see it as racist people aren’t happy with themselves or they are just jealous of other cultures. Different culture means variety of different food to choose from, wonderful history, nice and friendly people, respectful and caring people, plus each tradition is unique too. So maybe Prejudice people can’t handle all this?…. They don’t like new things, changes, lack of education or they’re afraid of the unknown….? Ahhhhh who knows what’s going around in their heads…. 🤷♀️

This sends chills down my spine as it reminds me a 'near similar incident' at a major department store where I was working on a temporary assignment for a major perfume company. It was a literal near miss, where the department store cosmetic manager tried to set me up to get into sh@@t. God saved me...that intuition thing...so glad I listened to my gut. I would have ended up with a police record, I had not 'earned'. There is still a kind of sinking feeling in my gut every time the memory comes back to me.

The point is, that it is unacceptable to refuse service, to anyone, unless they are acting abnormally. Having 'exclusive' restaurants is achieved by the outlandish prices which prevent/deter the hoi polloi from using them.

In this video I remember years ago when I was having problems with my wife and she was trying to make my life a living he'll so I went into the city to belvue entry into the homeless shelter for men. It's set up for men women and families anyway I was admitted and assigned a bed one day I asked some guy's if they wanted to eat at a restaurant on the corner and I would pay so we went and were seated and ordered and midway the manager asked us to leave and he said because you are in the shelter and you have no money and I showed him my money and he called 911 and asked for NYPD and they came and the manager explained the situation and we were forced to leave but I paid the bill to throw it back in his face to make a point don't judge a book by it's cover rather by it's content and I never went back but the VA hospital is 1 block away and when I went back the restaurant was gone because I think that he did the same thing to other people and they complained about the situation and I think that they were forced to leave themselves reputation can go just so far and it will catch up to you eventually as word travels at the speed of light word of mouth
It pays to have friends in high places you may show up where they work without knowing it. Those two needed to be fired but they probably didn't learn a lesson.
