How do you pair? I can't get my Ulterra to show up on my phone when I hold down the Pair button.
That's great but what needs to be done to get your phone paired to motor and remote, ya know step 1????

Also it's a good idea to connect your onboard charger and make sure your phone is plugged in as well. Or start your motor if you are out on the water. Everything should be fine but key word should. If there's a battery failure the AC power is a backup.
I run my phone charger plugged into electrical outlet or make sure I'm fully charged based on download size.
Off subject but how did you get the Ultrex cable to lay flat on deck? I turned foot foot every which way and still got big ol curl going on. I’m worried about it rubbing my new solix.
Rotating Foot Pedal to where it lays flat then install the foot pedal to the boat.
if you loose the remote can you use your cell phone to do anchor lock?
Also just tried to update my helix 12 chirp gen 1 and followed instructions perfectly and it got stuck in shutting down cycle over and over for several minutes and humminbird doesn't have any answers for me, everything was working just fine before update and now stuck on shutting down cycle on power up every time???
How did you wrap your cables and set up.?
Hey Doug, I enjoy the links and trick. I have Ultrex I-pilot, can I add link to it? If so where do I get the link. Is that through Minn Kota? any help thanks!
ipilot LINK and iPilot are two different versions that can be purchased with the ULTREX. On some models you can upgrade but not sure on the ULTREX. I would give MinnKota Customer Service a call and they can assist you if they offer a kit to convert to iPilot LINK. IT would take new control head, remote and wiring to switch.
Thanks, Doug, My wife bought it for me, I am sure the I-pilot link cost more, She is very sweet for surprising me. I just spent 3500 on the new solix console and a 7 on the bow, so when I went to pick my boat up, surprise surprise Ultrex was on it. I sure love that girl, married 43 years. Thanks again!
You can update the Ipilot this way. Just make sure you download the Ipilot app and not the Ipilot Link app/
He was asking about adding LINK features to an iPilot and that can not be updated. It is different hardwater to get the added features like networking to a Humminbird.
Gotcha!! It can be added for around $850 or so I think.
Does that phone app connect to the ultrex without the i pilot link?
It says unable to connect because of incorrect password or pin!!!!!
