I taught preschool years back and there was a couple like this. Wife looked just like Jessica Chastain and husband was a small, balding man who loved cargo shorts. Turns out husband was an amazing father and the kindest, sweetest man we’d ever met. It all made sense in the end.

@@bsherder I would tend to agree with you, there are some "good actors" out there who can't do live sketch comedy. JLo is a decent actor, I mean she's not gonna win any Oscars or anything, but I've seen her in a few things and she's fine. She's a pretty fun person if you ever see her in any interviews or stuff like that. I think that attitude helps with doing this type of comedy work.

The "open concept and shiplap, like we always do" line is dead-on. I suppose in 20 years, HGTV makeovers will feature lots of couples want that "contemporary, separate-function room style."
Very game of Mikey Day -- we know he can be a hottie with different clothes and hair (see, e.g., his turn as one of The Village People). Oh, to lift up his shirt and have a feel of his package.

Absolutely @TerrenNicole. I saw a previous version of this skit which was funny; but this Lopez edition has an ensemble - led by the king of comedic timing Keenan - who totally believe in the hilarious absurdness of the situation and they hit it out of the park.
