    Thirty years on there's still nothing funnier than Reeves & Mortimer.

    All their grocery adverts are simply genius.

    R&M are so unique - I still can't get enough of their stuff.

    Am I the only one who thought of this during the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony last night during the Chariots of Fire sequence?! I'd have kiled for the scene to have ended like this after Mr. Bean had done his thing!

    There's quite a few comedy parodies of this Chariots of Fire scene. And I was wondering what angle Vic and Bob were going to take with it.
    I was not disappointed.

      Umm. I wonder. Maybe someone at college got a part in Chariots Of Fire, and someone else who was there wanted to poke a bit of fun up them ?😃

    i think the true meaning of this sketch is that if you eat asparagus it'll make your bones stronger

    • @KRPTV
      @KRPTV Před 2 lety

      I don't think there is ever a true meaning of anything Vic and Bob do but that's what makes them so funny!😁😁😁

    • @JakeJakeP
      @JakeJakeP Před 2 lety

      The true meaning is that asparagus is good at running

    aaargh I wanted 2 hear vic's explanation 2 the vegetable adverts but the clip cut out! :-(

    • @vanillaorchid
      @vanillaorchid Před 7 lety +2

      There is no explanation. This was a series of sketches whose purpose was to sell vegetables.

    • @nixonradio
      @nixonradio Před rokem +1

      If I remember rightly, there was no logical explanation, but in the final episode of this series Bob is going through the budget and discovers that the vegetable adverts cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to produce, which causes Bob to go into a coma.
