I've cancelled my streaming services one by one by one. Now only Criterion remains because it is the only one that balances diversity of content with quality of content. It's also the only streaming platform that doesn't feel like it's conspiring to kill physical media, but actually encourages cinephiles to continue to support physical media.

Please make it available outside the US! Been waiting for a long time for it to come to Denmark.
Maybe try it using a VPN? But it may only work on a desktop or laptop, but better than nothing. A credit or debit card on a U.S. bank may be needed. Good luck.
@@pete49327 yeah it probably works. But it's also a lot more expensive to both pay for a VPN and the subscription.
Criterion has always consisted of all the greatest films and the excellence continues. very nice.

Wish I had this in Ireland. It's the only streaming service I would use
I subscribed to the channel about 3 years ago, and continued uninterrupted for a year. Since then I subscribe off and on, subscribe for a month or two, then unsubscribe for about 2 or 3 months, then back on and so on. But! I now purchase Criterion blu-rays and have built a treasured modest little collection of my favorite,s first seen/screened on the channel. For me the Criterion Channel and Criterion's physical discs dovetail nicely and a win win as physical media and streaming can coexist with great synergy.

See the world, only if you are in the US. Criterion you are great but it time to expand to other regions.
Worldwide licensing is a nightmare. A company as small as Criterion just doesn't have the resources to make such a move. I personally know several people in various locations in the world who watch the Channel using a VPN.
Why?

Not even close! Hulu is offering $1/mo. for 12 months, Peacock is offering $2/mo. for 12 months or $20 for 1 year ($1.67/mo.), and Max is offering $3/mo. for six months (plus a lot of Criterion movies also exist on the Max service).
@@allyouluckypeople Max offer comes with ads and other restrictions such as no 4k, but still a good deal. Don't know about others, but it's also about the quality of the movies on Criterion and most have the same video extras found on their disc titles.
