Just installed the Borla Atak on my c6 z06 . Really does wake up the car and sounds so much better than the stock mufflers even with the fuse pulled to keep the valves open . Very pleased with my purchase !!!

Had a 12 second LS1 TransAM with Borla. I loved every second of that exhaust tone. Hard to go wrong with Borla!!

I bought the ATAK for a 05 C-6 and now I have an 08 C-6 and planning to upgrade to ATAK with x pipe. Borla is a beast !!!

One of the best exhaust video comparisons ever. Although it is strictly pertaining to BORLA, this is exactly what I was looking for between all Borla C6 systems. Now, don't shoot me, cause I have a C5 with B & B Bullets and the Bullets are insane loud. (No mufflers) However, if I get a C6, it will be honored with Borla.

For Corvettes in particular Billy Boat Bullets are king, 2nd choice would be a close tie between Corsa Extremes or Borla ATAK.
I would've really liked to hear them get on it while inside the vehicle. The S-Type, I believe, produced the perfect sound.

My 05 C6 had corsa’s on it and it would screamed.Now I have a 08 ZO6 with borla atak sounds good but I would have to give corsa the nod.

I had a lot of work done on my 98 Cobra Mustang, and ran Flow Masters on it. I then heard a Mustang with Borla and thought....WTF!!! I now own a 2008 C6 and have just ordered the ATAK Cat Back system.

@FreeToSnipe We have completely eliminated all drone/resonance from our C6 systems. These new systems have absolutely zero drone but retain all the good sound benefits Borla has been known for. You can drive our new systems for the C6 in any gear, at any RPM, up hills, automatic or manual, they will not drone under any circumstances. 3 different sound levels to suit your individual needs, each with a classic Borla note and with absolutely no drone
Nice video. I live spitting distance to Firebird raceway, which houses Bondurant school. I wish I could afford to attend one of their classes. Hopefully some day. My vote is the S-Type.
S-Type....looking to get one for my 2013 C6 427 Conv. Hoping its an improvement over running the stock exhaust using a mild2wild switch (current setup).
It's much better than just the mild to wild stock exhaust fix . Buy the Atak you will be happy that you did . I have a c6 z06 with the Atak and I'm completely happy with my purchase for the past 2 years .

At first I heard the start up of the cars and wasn't super impressed, but when they stepped on the gas God the Vettes sound amazing with the Borla's. Best part is they eliminated the drone/resonance. If they can do that for my Cobra I'd buy an entire new exhaust sytem.

@tripleheshy I considered Borla for my 2010 Camaro but the guy that installed my exhause did it on other Camaro's and he said that the people wanted him to put back the stock exhaust

Had stingers on my 03 ZO6 and the Drone was overbearing was going to put it back to stock but sold the car instead. I'm afraid anything over touring unit will be the same please advise...

What muffler would be the closest sound to ATAK. I'm looking to buy a muffler and do custom piping, not a whole system. (I don't have a corvette lol). I know it's an Xr1 most likely, but which one?

Hello. Thank you for reaching out! We have separate systems specifically made for the C6 Z06. It's going to sound quite similar to these systems. Not exactly the same, but close. Unfortunately, we do not have a video for the systems on the Z06, but you might be able to find some on CZcams. I definitely recommend searching so that you can get an idea of how they sound. I can also help get you a part number if you would like.
I love the sound but I just want to know if they are street legal? Do they passed the decibel meter?
