They're very talented filmmakers/entertainers and have done things you could never do. meanwhile you're judging them on some tiny late night gaming session (and I'd bet they were drinking too). This cannot be real, dora literally stared blankly at that 4 for a solid 7 minutes. Just standing there. Staring at the square. Getting annoyed like Simon was supposed to help him.

@@cjabdon926 I legitimately think Simon is better at game reasoning than Dora (and Neebs and Apprso in certain situations), but he gets flustered and derails himself because he always expects to get shit on for messing up.
Watching these episodes is actually a great exercise for practicing frustration reduction techniques đ Realizing it doesn't matter, reminding myself to just enjoy the present moment watching two lovely (if somewhat oblivious) people.

Agree, they where just making sure they stand on the squares like that and poof. Dora's brain went dead, he did not even hear the loud noise that stepping on it triggered.
while they were looking for it the solution it was routinely the centre of Dora's view point. most of the time was spent staring at the solution.
Watching these 2 play this has taught me patience to a degree I didnât know was possible from any CZcams video.

Depends on the game. Neebs is completely useless in 7 days outside of farming and that's just cause none of the others have bothered looking into it. Appsro in their one offs usually is the one lacking (Deep rock galactic as an example he gave them completely incorrect advice/information that led to their downfall multiple times) Also Neebs and Thick did pretty poorly going through this even with Appsro's help. It takes ALL (two) of them to make this channel great
pretty sure this is a comedy channel where Simons doing a ton of the carrying, not a video game channel where the point is to play well lol
Neebs is pretty well rounded, Thick got kills (and Iâm sure he still is. I miss him.), Dora is super creative, Appsro is the best puzzle solver, Simon is the heart of the group and the comedic center for me, and out of the whole crew Iâd say Ada or maybe Anthony are the best flat out gamers.
@@steveschulz3647 Neebs is good when it doesn't involve fighting. (He often leaves them hanging and they mention this a lot) Dora is creative (probably being high all the time helps tbh lmao) Appsro def is NOT the best puzzle solver and this has been shown in TONS of videos (Funny enough Simon actually is the best when it comes to puzzles when he's interested in the puzzle) Simon is def the heart as well, he doesn't even like games and only does this for his friends true bro right there, Ada as far as I know is only really a great builder and Anthony seems to be the most well rounded of the gamers
It's like watching Blue's Clues as an adult and watching Steve pretend to not understand an obvious puzzle so the kids at home can tell him what to do first... only they are not pretending.

So true. That is what makes it so entertaining is the sheer frustration from their gameplay.
this series has good drinking game potential. every time simon or dora miss something obvious take a drink. every time simon falls down a hole take a drink. everytime the guys forget how to solve a puzzle after solving the exact same puzzle twice mere seconds beforehand take a drink. everytime they solve a puzzle by sheer accident, more booze.
so many variables, never choose more than one or the game will get fatal
You take that many shots and you'll end up with observational skills to match theirs

And in this particular area the game pretty much throws 2nd grade puzzles at you for a sense of nostalgia. Nothing is meant to be difficult here itâs meant to make you feel like a kid again
59:00 I can't... I thought the 4 button was bad. But at least that was just a case of Dora not paying attention. Here, they're both paying *all* of the attention and still can't see the obvious. They finally get it at 1:02:20. It was only about 3 and a half minutes, but it felt like hours.
I say this with all the love. Watching this is enjoyable and excruciatingly painful at the same time.

It's interesting to watch the Neebs/Thick with Apsro playthrough and then this one and see the differences in how they solve things. Simon and Dora struggle more in some places than the others did, but they actually get through some parts faster. Plus, there were several parts of the Neebs/Thick playthrough where it took all three of them to figure a part out. They even joked that "It takes 3" Simon and Dora did it with just the two of them for all but a couple of brief times. It would be cool to see a super cut that shows each part from both playthroughs to see the differences. Great job, guys!
