Simon lives for this kinda thing. This is what makes it worthwhile for him, watching them struggle through it knowing that it's his own doing because he found the game and talked them into playing it.

soooo i think the neebs crew could deff pull off an interview type style platform.. interviewing other youtube gamers or twitch streamers while playing extremely frustrating games and constantly being criticized on what their doing on the game! sounds like a good time....
I'm glad it sounds like you guys are still Going to be playing elden Ring. I have very much been looking forward to the next video of Elden Ring. Also a few tips here for appsro, head to calid( however it is spelled) and go to the scarlet rot swamp, along the edge is a small tower with the meteor staff. It has s scaling and is an incredibly powerful EARLY game staff that's still viable in late game and doesn't need to be upgraded. Also, near the tower there are some ruins and within the ruins is a small passage leading to a chest containing the rock sling sorcery which does a good amount of damage pretty amount of FP used and it is one of the few spells that is boosted by the meteorite staff making it more powerful.
Also if you go to sorcerer sellen's dungeon You can farm the 2 giants pulling the large wagon repeatedly if you rest at the grace. And then Proceed to kill them rest at grace rinse and repeat. They are worth around 1k each kill so it easy xp
For 20 years iv always went back to a handful of games splinter cell ghost recon bf4 and call of duty .. but evey game I watch you guy play gives me a taste of the wild side you guys keep it up me and my wife have watches for years we loved half empty and hope Tony's people are doing good ik it's hard to talk about it feels like your upsetting a group of people buy mentioning think but I can say anytime me and my lady here a joke about thick or a old clip you guys post that always good enough yall take care and gg
Btw, my uncle used to write official letters for those who did not know how to write. And I mean how to write an official letters and requests. He died doing that craft at 107 years. Of course the last decade was fighting old printers

Elden rings tough you can pick another path and lessen the challenge you where facing. Games like this your only option is figure it out (which is exactly how i play elden ring anyway)
Simon often is pretty accurate in his explanation/understanding of games when he actually bothers to pay attention to them. Appsro, despite usually playing the games ahead of time, is often inaccurate when he tries to teach the rest of the group which ends up having them make mistakes which he then complains about. Simon aint as bad as people make him out to be
I'd love if you guys jumped back into Elden Ring, but I get Neebs' point about doing something you're good at. The Hero character choice is a setup for failure if you're new. No amount of extra levels can make up for basically starting the game in your scivvies. Start again as the Vagabond, or step back and do a mage or faith build til you get the tempo of the battles.
I'm still watching this for Appsro's opinion, I totally agree i wouldn't be playing this. Elden Rings, Zelda BOTW or TOTK, or lots of other open world games with physics or magic that make sense lol.
I think you guys could do a Speedrunners tournament here on the Dumpster and it would be amazing! So fun watching you guys really get into it. I'm with Jonny on the whole frustration-genre, but it does make me think...it's almost like, in the past, when developers were starting out, they would probably make a few chincey games just to get the hang of things and never release those games to the public. Maybe the difference is now there is an actual market for them, so people perfect them and release them instead? Idk, got me thinking. Cheers and love, everyone.

Thank you for playing this xD Its sadly just fun to see people rage about this. We watched some other CZcamsrs play it and we just get in stitches laughing. Then we would try to play it ourselves and we didn't have the sticking and super jump but we would set a goal to try to get to where the CZcamsr got to at the end of their session. Takes a while but we'd eventually get there. Possibly Map 1 would be one to try. Keep in mind where your platforms are so when you jump high and possibly miss that you aim to fall to those platforms to hopefully avoid the holes that make you fall further. Like for the Bees, try to stay mostly on the far right may help or mid left to try to avoid the hole between the twigs area. But I was honestly impressed when Simon was playing, I feel he could possibly master this one that its not necessarily fast decision gameplay (unless you play the natural mode) I feel he's better at puzzle games (I'm kind of the same, I like to analyze a situation over making fast decisions that can confuse me at times >^^^.~^^< )
