Love your studio with a great window for natural light. You are so organized and it’s so color coordinated. Your thread wall is a great idea as you can see the names and colors easily.

I have a pink 1956 atlas, I use her all the time along with my Juki. I learned on the Atlas many many years ago well over 50 years ago. More like 60 lol

I would love to hear your thoughts on different irons. I really need to upgrade. And PLEASE do a video on your project binder. I ❤️ it SO much! Thanks for the tour 😊
Thank you! I will add the project binder walk thru to the list for sure. Irons are fun. Kind in mind that my iron's have to be ready to work at least 10-20 a week. Over the years, I used Rowenta's (the $100 range) as almost annual disposable iron's, I hated throwing them away. No matter how much I cleaned them, used the correct water....they would crap out on me. Start spitting & leaking water. About 5 years ago, I go the Oliso Smart Iron ($200 ish) - this was nice. Took some getting used to with the lift action, etc. This lasted about 2 years before it started giving me problems. I've had my Laura Star Plus ($600) steam system for almost 3 years now. I LOVE the huge water vessal as I steam everything. It used tap water, and I just recently replaced the water filter....it's like brand new.

DUDE!! I cannot believe I just found you and now I am going to binge! I love your energy and style (including realism) and would love a full review on your iron (I need to start building my Christmas list!) and if you could do a "Real Talk" on having a serger as a part of your set up. I have one foot in on a serger but I am not sure how much I will use it. I am primarily a quilter and will throw down some Xs if I cannot get to my studio or have nothing to bind! I can't wait to catch up with you and follow you along your journey!

Love this tour. I just discovered your flosstube in the past two weeks. I finally found someone who also has the Babylock room saver 5ft quilt frame. I have the Babylock Coronet as my long arm machine. Even though I have had the long arm for 7 years have not done many quilts on it yet. Looking forward to a complete hip replacement in 20 days and once recovered looking to getting that "Baby" humming. Would love to watch you quilt on it sometime as I have not done anything larger than a twin size. What is your favorite free motion design you use? Thanks for subscribing! I do love this space saver Coronet. Great recommendation with a video of me using it, I will add it to the list. I don't get to fancy with my long arming designs, swirls, loops, circles. Best of luck on your hip replacement! Thoughts and prayers for a smooth procedure and uneventful transition back to full use.
Thank you for sharing so many good ideas. I plan to reorganize my room again this week. The holidays took a toll. Comic book boards are in my cart. I saw a glimpse of a cross stitch on your fabric shelves. It had houses and bright colors in a square above one of the breadboxes. Can you share the pattern name? And where did you find the cute pink and green striped bin where you stored Christmas finishing supplies by your cross stitch things? My room is pink and green. Those would be useful and cute! The colorful stitched piece is called Stitchville from Thimble Blossoms, you can download via pdf from their site. Unfortunately, the pink & green baskets aren't easy to share. They were hand me downs to my studio from my daughters pink & green baby room decor (she's almost 17.)

Thank you for this wonderful tour of your studio. If you hadn't mentioned it was in the basement of your home I would never have known that. I have some of the same 12 x 12 plastic storage boxes for projects in progress that came with a wheeled cart. Just as an aside, do you know what the approximate square footage of your studio is? Just curious. Very well done, thank you for sharing.

What size is your long arm? I’ve been toying with the idea of possibly owning one one day….
I’ve had a few people reach out for commissions of my recent tshirt quilt, so I’m considering it and one of the things we want to consider is the long arm.
Also, I’ll probably do a sewing room tour once I have stuff up on the walls. 🥰 I love the idea of putting carpet movers for the longarm
It's the BabyLock Coronet - the frame is only 5 feet wide. This was the driving factor on me choosing this model.
