I've been helping and reaching my fellow Filipinos for more than a decade, since 2006, but without recording it on film.
I just decided to film the activities we do in 2015 to spread awareness.
This time guys: I need your help. I need your helping hands to give joy to Filipino families, one at a time.
How it works:
Your contribution goes straight to the individual/family we reach/help.
After we reached/helped 1 individual/family: We then move on to help another.
Our objective is to reach 1 economically poor individual/family, one at a time.
Important notes:
1. I personally don't receive/get/take/pocket any amount of financial contributions from you guys.
Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
2. I do not publish on youtube the stories of the families we reach w/o a signed release agreement and parental/guardian consent.
The release agreement gives me a permission to publish their stories on youtube.
3. Business, personal and GoFundMe fundraiser accounts: All the funds, contributions, sources of income and other monetary sources that go into my accounts are being reported to the taxman. My bank also reports to the taxman every year, by the end of the year, FYI.
There's a Certified Public Accountant who does the accounting and auditing of my accounts.
The Certified Public Accountant reports to the taxman.
4. You don't need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution to give help to people in the Philippines.
Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
There's no law that states, that you need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution first, before you are able to give help to people legally.
5. GoFundMe checks the fundraiser account from time to time.
They sometimes ask for verification and validation.
The reason why I upload films/videos about poverty in the Philippines is to spread social awareness.
To combat economic inequality, social injustice, oppression, repression, abuse and exploitation:
1st: We have to be aware.
2nd: We should pay attention.
3rd: We are ought to do something about it.
We as Filipinos and citizens of this planet should not turn a blind eye, not to play deaf and not to pretend mute.
We as human beings have a responsibility to give care and to show compassion to others.
We as citizens have a great responsibility to safeguard our ball of genuine democracy.
We as citizens have a responsibility to fight tyranny and corruption.
A documentary film/video like this one is very important, because it opens our eyes to the unjust societal reality.
How could we turn a blind eye on social injustice and huge economic inequality?

I love all the people. Need is need. It's sad that someone who has worked all their life has to struggle in their retirement age. There shouldn't be anyone without food in this rich world.
The old woman face..is a face that experience so much harship hunger and loneliness..this people never sinned so much unlike other humans who are rich who are feeling entitled of everything and very boastful but yet cant have bring those riches in his or her last breath.God bless the old man and woman.May God strengthen their heart to not give up or lost faith in Him.❤

I think it’s Ilocano dialect Sir Mark. I feel sorry for Lolo and Lola that everyday they were eating rice with salt only, good thing they don’t have problem in kidney or perhaps they might have already. Just hoping that they were still healthy even they were in this hard situation of life❤️🙏

There are many countries where the inhabitants are suffering from hunger due to extreme poverty especially in Africa and some parts of Asian countries and South America. It's not the reality of ALL THE PEOPLE in that country. I have read about Brazil they also have same problems in Asian countries and South Africa.
Yeahh We have many problem about poverty in our country but the diferent betwen they big the $1USD/Asian=32 pesos... Brasil $1USD=6 reais R$6,00.

When I first visited Delhi, capital of india . In my own country u wouldn't believe sir mark i felt racism in my own country... People started calling me chinki, Chinese, hakka noodles etc etc they even they ask me r u from china, Japan, Phillipines, korea. N started taking photos with me thinking i m a foreigner 😅😅😅😢😢😢😢

Aswang is not real and never proven if it's real. They are ilocano at wala masiyadong haka haka ang mga ilocano tungkol sa mga aswang, sa parte lang ng Visayas yon.
I’m assuming you already told them this, but I thought I would just ask. Have they ever tried reaching out to someone famous like Tim Tebow or any other Filipino CZcams channels. Have they tried reaching out to any celebrities or anyone with a big social media presence? Have they tried making shorts or TikTok videos. As you know and maybe you should let Cesar and the girls know, Americans people go crazy over these types of CZcams shorts or TikTok videos, especially when it’s helping people who use what you give them to help them out and not spend it on drugs or any other bad stuff. Maybe tell them to film a day in the life video of someone dirt poor to raise awareness. This is just a suggestion and by no means am I entirely blaming this on you Mark.
It doesn't matter what I tell them, because the result is always the same.
Sometimes, they comprehend and do it right, but then after few more films, they will go back to the old habit.
It's senseless to talk to them about what to do, seriously.
