Stephen Amell's first match in WWE against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2015 was absolutely underrated.
Stephen is actually a pretty good wrestler
He had another match at AEW's all in
I remember Steve Austin getting mad bc he said that the celebrity’s are not supposed to be or act like they are stronger than the wrestlers.

I love how Turner flinches a little when he sees Oliver violently break Sampson's arm. It's like he just realized how destructive Oliver could be if he wanted to, that he kind of normally holds back because he wasn't generally willing to go this far as the Arrow.

I love this fight. No suit or weapons, just a man vs man prison fight. Love how Brick has no fear in his voice
The prison arc of S7 really shows how strong and skilled Oliver is when he's not pulling his punches. It took him less than a minute to beat Sampson, even though he was wounded, took on an army of guards with shields (with Talia's help), beat 3 guards with one hit each, and took on 30 prisoners with just a bag of canned sodas, and he did all of this without his bow and a single arrow. This guy could probably go toe-to-toe with Batman.
Well I mean this version of him is technically supposed to replace him originally. But we later find out that batman has been around far longer than him but disappeared. And I know stephen amell said that his arrow would beat batman but his arrow still basically lost against ras’ al ghoul if it wasn’t for him hesitating to kill Oliver. And in almost every iteration of batman, he is always leagues above Ras in skill so I would say it would be pretty close. And Batman would be a better tactician as well.

These type of fights where we can actually see them with actually skill. That’s how arrow fights should’ve been done like the flashback to when Oliver killed everyone just to put the fear of god into a man and surrender to the police in the season 8 finale sadly they learned how to do it to late

Why do they keep switching up how amazing the fight scenes are in this series, it goes from cringe to good between each season
The fights are always spectacular, it’s the best thing about this show. Excluding all fights from S4, the show never switched up the quality of the fights.
This episode reminds me a lot of the movie damage with Steve Austin the fights remind me of Steve Austin fighting from damage

He was injured and originally didnt want to fight in the first place. It wasnt until the guy punched his stab wound that he even remotely was in it, even then he fought to disable when he could have pretty easily just beat the shit out of them or killed them outright.
Slade didn’t train him that much tho. Ras was just swords. Oliver won didnt he? So not nerfed. Clearly Samson got skills. And Oliver is injured.
