I have not paste it on the curved surface, instead I Used the bending tool and bended the copies on a curve similar to the original object...Enojy!

Please describe what extension was used to trace the picture and the extension used to make the curve at the end.
I used BZ toolbar you can download from here: sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=BezierSpline
and for the curve at the end used the "followme tool" which is built in with sketchup.
