How Do You Feel About Inflation?
Leave a comment and let us know your thoughts
This is good
Inflation is good for people because all the debt people own becomes less.
That's why take a loan if the inflation is rising and invest in gold or lands it will get huge profits
Earth is still cold, need is to melt down Himalayan ice caps so that Indian rivers must sound high.
3 things, being felt/seen by ordinary people:
- Ouch!
- Cherry picking
- Numbers fudging
Rent/mortgage, groceries, electric/gas bill, gasoline, car insurance/maintenance, labor charges, tuition fees, etc. have all gone up since 2020, and accelerated even further after Ukraine war. Households are taking two jobs, getting more and more into credit card debt and paying high interest. It is because people have jobs, they are not voicing their concerns that much about high cost of living.
जब तक रहने के लिए घर है और bills pay कर सकते हैं, हम ठीक है।
The overall inflation "number" came down, but the COST OF LIVING DID NOT COME DOWN! This is because, the CPI has been a mixed bag - went up in some areas (that affect day-to-day living cost), and came down in others (that has little effect on day-to-day living cost). The CPI-down items outweigh the CPI-up items, so that influenced the falling inflation rate, but, as I said, the cost of living did not come down. But there too, the government's own Labor department does not seem to be reporting accurate price information on various items. How do I know... Well, I do my own shopping, you know🙂! So, the politicians/media pick & choose what they want to talk about while being silent on the rest.
So, that is basically what is going on with inflation.
If we step back three years, we will notice that we were already in a "mild" inflation due to Covid & climate related supply chain issues. If nothing else had happened, we could have sailed through just fine. But, then the Ukraine war happened, and that basically turned the mild inflation into a hot one. Now, while the Covid related supply issues have eased up, the war/sanctions/climate related supply issues have not, and, at best, will continue to persist... At worst, we all get screwed with very high food/energy prices if and when the Ukraine war turns into an open NATO war... And, if the climate effects keep getting worse (2024 will be even hotter, per NASA)!
As far as the economy goes... The cost of living, consumer debt, corporate debt, failing banks, real estate bubble starting to bust... All are coming to a head, albeit slooooowly! It's basically a ticking time bomb, as far as I can sense. But, there are always ways to step off that road...
I feel like Palki Sharma is making a great work and she should keep it going with the REAL news 🎉
0:12The population in the Himalayan states of India should be prevented from increasing further, especially those who migrate there from other states into these Himalayan states should be stopped. These mountainous areas are such that they can support a certain amount of people, If there are more people, more forests will be cut on the mountains to build houses, due to which the chances of landslide will be more in these hilly areas and consequently more lives will suffer.
There is no climate change. It’s all smoke and mirrors to defend inflation and rising prices. I literally did a research on weather patterns in last decade and I don’t see a change. Government just needs an excuse for their shortcomings
Many examples of climate change affecting humans in few mins. 👏
In Kerala it's really affecting us no Rain
Terrible. There are a number of factors. In addition to climate emergencies, pandemics, conflicts between countries and some peculiarities of the capitalist system itself, they aggravate global inflation rates. Patience and compassion, then. 1:19
Capitalism is often referred to as a free market economy in its purest form, where the means of production are owned by private interests. An economic system that focuses on a free market to determine the most efficient allocation of resources and sets prices based on supply and demand. 1:31[Investopedia]
Under the high-emissions pathway, coral reef loss in Hawaii is projected to result in an economic loss of up to $1.3 billion per year by 2050. [Hawaii gov] 1:11
what happened? isn’t your land “god’s own country”? he abandoned you already?
@@Kevin-fq3zh the whole world is suffering so what's the difference here are we not in same world
If you can grow your own food then do it! Native Americans lived for around 12,000 years in the part of the US where I live. I’ve already started doing what they did for sustenance.
u r a wise man
We should promote har ghar kheti after har ghar triranga , so that people can put some time by growing their own foods , we should promote rooftop garden, vertical garden, aqua farm... So that we can get rid of these problem. I request you maam to spread this so that most of people grow their own food , me and my family has already started, we grow plenty of foods in a very few month , we grow chilly, capcicum (red, yellow, green), corn(normal, sweet, baby), cucumber, bottle groud , bitter groud, snake groud, brinjal, papaya, pumpkin, watermelon, lady finger, and plenty more that are enough to feed your home and you can manage your finance.. that's also help the children to learn some gardening..

Clematis changes from past
Sign of the times, welcome to the final show
Palki, I liked your opening line - we walk away from discussing this particular topic, as if we are safe and secure forever!
Well, we can never be. The planet is spinning and literally proving "what goes around comes back"! Creator has made nature to rebalance itself, the way we are seeing now....
Tomatoes for rice sounds like a fair trade
Hopefully I will give solid solution to counter climate
Posterboy is there with scheme for milk...???
We should do what Japanese do. Whenever there is a shortage of certain food, they consume less to make it go around. Japanese do not blame their government but rather understand the climate disaster and learns from it. Indians must learn this concept rather than play a blame game.
0:12 How stupid to build a house on the edge of a cliff. But don't worry. Just blame it on climate change.
