DESCRIPTO:
Rare 37 min interview with the Canadian Alternative Rock bass player & singer ''Melissa Auf Der Maur'' lead by VJ ''Rebecca Makonnen'' from Musique Plus for the TV program called ''Exposé'', following the release of Melissa's first EP album ''Auf Der Maur'' published on February 2, 2004.
Melissa was well known for having played with the American Grunge band ''Hole'' for a period of 5 years until she later joined the American Grunge band ''The Smashing Pumpkins''. She also contributed to French song called ''Le Grand Secret'' with the singer ''Nicola Sirkis'' from the band Indochine, which was released in 2003.
You're now watching an Analog VHS to Digital copy taken from ''Musique Plus'' TV channel, which used to be located in Montreal, Canada. Thanks to Musique Plus for having broadcast this interview at the time the channel was alive!

Thanks for your comment, glad you like! :-) Melissa is a well respected artist & loved by many, not only for her music but also because her interviews are always very enjoyable to watch. She's intelligent & she's got interesting things to say. And you're right, Rebecca Makonnen was one of my favorite Musique Plus interviewers because she was natural, comfortable & able to easily adapt to each guest's personality. She always asked relevant questions. Very professional, dynamic & focussed while relaxed & cool. It helped artists like Melissa to open up even more than they normally would because of the connection they had with her.

I was in her Family class at Faces, she was still Nick's daughter then. Still has the vague Swiss/Joual accent. I have the Wallon/Joual, so close enough.

@@pedrocosta3470 That's the only complete interview I have with Melissa. But there's a short one I uploaded about a year ago. Though, I was only able to capture a section of the interview at the time it was broadcast and that one is all in French. That said, it's an interesting conversation where Melissa elaborates on her experience playing with the band "Hole" as well as her evolution as a musician in the Rock 'n' Roll scene & how Rockers are perceived by society vs. reality, she also makes references to her own personal life...
