One of the accomplishments I am most proud of:) Even if it wasn't the smartest of moves. She sure did but it's not sad. I am better because of her and I'll will make a girl very happy.

Hey Joel....It's your old buddy ( I'm 65 by the way )......With some more free advice.😁.....Well done!!! by the way. You paid homage to the past, without becoming too maudlin. Thats hard to do, and you did a good job......Now forward you go.....Here is the advice for this session. Some of it you may not like, but that's life. No more of the X-girlfriend....No more pics, no more mention of her.....You've got to focus on you, the boat, new places and new friends....I know this may sound harsh, but you can't look forward and backwards at the same time.....Start a go-fund me for the boat A.S.A.P.....Strike while the iron is hot....I'll contribute, and I bet, so will many others...Consider the idea of selling a few charters. If it doesn't work out, or you don't like it. No harm no foul. You just move on with filming your adventures. It's your life....Your boat....And your future...... I'm glad you're taking charge of it....Run your life .....Don't let it run you....Sea Ya!!!!!😉
Thanks for weighing in. This was an important video as I needed to change the old introduction video. I agree as far as moving forward with episodes. As for the plan, it is in motion. I’ll be chartering in the Bahamas learning to sail from lifelong cruisers with over 50 hrs experience while saving up to return to Chak Matay:)

Sending positive vibes, man. You ever thought about picking up island hopping hitchhikers. I see there are some groups on Facebook and the like with people looking to give/get rides. You could give rides with the agreement that they have to share their story about how they got where they are, where they're headed, etc. It would really fit your channel name and might provide some pretty interesting and unique content. Anyway, just dropping a line to let you know there are complete strangers out here that are wishing you the best.

Hey Joel, Ill admit you had me worried for a while with how low you were (totally understandable) and It is so wonderful to see that smile return, the enthusiasim in your voice and the wild character return that to be honest now that I look back was slipping before the recent heartbreak. Sometimes change is unexpected, its rarely welcomed and it can cause so many hardships and priority shifts but you seem to be coming out the other side now mate and it looks like its for the better. Cant wait to see whats next!
I'll admit I had myself worried. Change seems to be the only constant in this world. It's taken time and a lot of work to come out the other side. There are so many great things that have come out of this. Thank you for checking in on me and offering advice and encouragement. What's next is coming soon:)

Just guessing but I'd say one of your challenges will be *not* rebounding in love. You're young, perhaps, the sea is your mistress for now?
