Always fun to listen and see you talk to the camera like an old friend😊
I liked how you showed the everyday realities of cruising life, such as getting water, daily chores, and disposing of garbage.
you crazy old man
No jet skis. That’s marvelous
Beautiful water, fresh produce and a cold beer! A trifecta!
The quietness of those lapping waves around the boat brings back to me all the sensations of the sea, its smell, a distant outboard motor, people chatting on an anchored yacht....such special memories. Well done Barry.
True, it's the small things like that which make it magical. Stjepan Hauser's 'Alone, Together' cello piece -- starts & ends with lapping waves -- is mesmerizing. It's my favorite classical piece now.
Ahh yes, clandestine garbage redistribution.
I've done it myself. Doing yardwork I would accumulate very large plastic bags of weeds, dead grass etc. I would have my utility trailer full of them. Near my home there's an elementary school with a row huge dumpsters butted up to the parking lot. I would quickly drop by with my trailer load and pop them in. I didn't feel so bad because I live in the area and pay huge property taxes which fund that school as well as others.
We're like pirates but instead of stealing, we're giving things away.
No frills, just keeping It real. You the man, brother.
Plain an simple yet amazingly interesting an intelligent , Total binge watcher ! Im 60 an retired , i can't wait till summer when i get my Kayak in tha water an explore like Barry LOL. Stay safe Buddy 🙏
You probably know this, but a small spray bottle filled with 50% water and white vinegar, is excellent when you don't have an iron. Hang T-shirt or Shirt on hanger, spray, leave hanging until dry! Works for me even on sun dresses!
When I lived in Antigua as a kid we had a 1960's Mini Moke. I agree, that thing you showed was not cool like our old one.
At Last real sailing NO Fake nonsense just sailing… Brilliant thumbs up 👍 subscribed
Someone told me once that “Life is just going from one line to another.” Ain’t that the damn truth!
Thank you for taking us to another interesting place, Barry. I had an old friend who used to say that if you want to know a town and its people, visit their market and have a meal.
Waiting for the next one! Thank you.
Amazing how you can make the rubbish trip so fun!!!🎉
A great video. I’m glad you’re out there. Keep on enjoying yourself live in that great life of this comment helps.
You and Sam Holmes are such an inspiration for me in my little 14 footer keel boat doing the nooks and crannies of Brittany and the La Rochelle area. It is tempting to defy the weather and the sea, but they are always stronger than we are. "La mer nous apprend la modestie".
Gud one Barry
Nice to see your spirit has lifted,I can tell by the happiness in your voice, face and true British humor. Love you Barry ✨💫
Itchy boots and Barry are the two best on You Tube
Breakie and coffee looked great! Another brilliant video Barry

Just lovet it, when you turns up like an english gentlemen in your comments..make me smile. Regards Bensen (Denmark)
A very cool life if you love the water, sailing, and the tropics! I love the fact the island residents are environmentally conscious, and actually care about planet Earth.
I look forward to Seadog
I was waiting for them to put the cuffs on you for not recycling!😂
Well Berry ya done it again. You found another slice of heaven and was willing to share it with many of us still on the HARD. Smooth sailing to ya.
Yes! Just like an old friend!!
And lovely: I think I've told ya more than once:
We Will Always Love You, Barry Perrins.
Beautiful Barry, I hope to retrace the waves one day. One day , it cost nothing to dream and everything not to
Oh Barry, love to hear the ending Melody. It takes me way back to when you first started. I've heard a lot of adventurous mysterious things about Tahiti. Love to watch your food parts, especially when your ordering something and you shall it. It makes my mouth water. Love to watch the waters. Thanks much old friend and I'm old too. Look forward to your next❤
Thanks Barry for sharing this wonderful video
Running aground with dirty dishes in the galley is akin to having to go to the doctor's office with dirty underwear (as mum would always warn about)! 🤣
“If I can do it - a child can do it“ 😂
Has he ever taken a fix with a sextant?
Probably not. Too busy telling us how hard a life it is.🙄
He has. Lets see you gen y, or whatever you may be identifying as , at in your 60,s without mummy or daddys , or grandmama's money and all on your little lonesom
Chinese fisherman and Russian trawlers are everywhere.
Your moon shot looked like a hand holding a pearl.
Just to make you jealous, a lazy Sunday afternoon and I'm drinking lots of beer.
I’ve spent many a long afternoon at the Waterfront Bar in Port Vila. Vanuata is a lot more ‘developed’ these days than it used to be, but still has great charm and the locals are wonderful.
Glad to see yer still Vertical and sucking wind, Brotherman!
Thanks for entertaining us all these years my old friend.
Your demeanor is fantastic 😂🏴☠️🌊
Surprised you haven't bumped into, or had to avoid Chinese Fishing vessels before now. Apparently they are everywhere.
Great video Barry. 👍✌️🙏
Best wishes from Norway 🙂
Loved your new beach shorts Barry.every girls crazy about a sharp dressed man!!
Fair winds ⛵️
Experience tells , very wise decision to stay put, fair winds
Another great video, Barry! As always, you’ve inspired me in my own sailing challenges and reminded me that good days and rough days are all just part of the journey.
G'Day!!
Fab episode
Ahoy Captain ! Do you ever get land sickness ? Have you ever had to send an SOS ? You have never talked about these things . Always a pleasure to see you again . Fare winds and following seas my Brother . Until we meet again ,,,,
There’s nothing worse than being sick because of dodgy food bro! When it makes your arse sick too it’s it’s nothing short of brutal! Hope you feel better soon! 👍🏴🙂
Another great video, and the fish and rice looked lovely. Pity about the pizza.
Sail on Dog,be safe out there.
Wonderful episode. Wish I could visit that market. I was discouraged that you felt it necessary to lock up the dinghy and its engine when ashore. Never considered that in French Polynesia. But I guess there are needy and/or dishonest human beings anywhere.
Hi Barry, been watching you for years always look forward to the next vid
Great decision Barry🎉
Hi mate I live in Port Vila and thought I saw your boat. Thanks for the kind words about our home sorry I missed meeting you. From one old bloke to another stay safe and enjoy life cheers Ian
Just love your Grung sailing style !
A Van der Stadt 36 sloop. Cool! Last year I nearly bought a 1975 Cheoy Lee 33 ketch. Ongoing bon voyage.
In many ways you’ve inspired me to recommit to my sailing life- thanks Barry.
Old dogs old boats
Another great video update Barry. Thanks for sharing!
I’m glad you found a beautiful place good market hope an anchor Beers for you ❤
A new vlog from TOSD. Always a good day, always interesting
Always a fun video!
I love that your still using the boogie board cam! Remain Calm and Sail On Mate!
Fair winds, Mr. B!
Yes, I confess I never considered all the housekeeping jobs of living on a sailboat: making job list, finding a serviceable anchorage, disposing of garbage in port, collecting washing water & drinking water, grocery shopping, hardware shopping, visiting a big item laundromat. I wonder if the vagabond lifestyle loses its appeal at times? And how to circumvent that. One thing I'd have is a collapsible small bike for riding around in port. ⛵
Thanks Barry, for sharing!
Barry, thats an American breakfast... :)
Great vid Barry, thanks for taking the time to make it. Fair winds.
Thanks young man.
Proper geezer you are, Baz. Loved this vid, like all the others. Nothing tops the pacific, where you were on your own for all that time 👀. Hell of a guy 👍🏻
Nice PODCAST thanks a lot..!!
I would love to be able to sail around like this
I liked this obe Barry. Thanks 👍
I have had "mal de terre" in similar many situations so I empathize but it is the luck of the draw and transitory to boot. Enjoyed the vid - thanks & cheers.
You're a boss, Barry!
hmm, Tusker that's a Kenyan beer yes?
If it is same beer, i have seen the brewery, and let me tell you, there were many many drunk rats at it. This was around 25 years ago, everything rusted and awful, so hopefully brewery has been cleaned up mate!
Excellent video, Barry
Barry, I have just been rewatching your Pacific crossing series. You my friend, are a deadset legend as we say here in Oz! If you ever make it to Adelaide SA the pizza and beers are on me!
"Proper job" as always barry,,,fair winds bud
Glad to see the old sea dog with a smile on his face and I hope it didn't put you of pizza with the bad stomach
Thank you.
Love the video Barry and love the adventure
Barry love your vids even though your from the wrong side of the border. Lots of love from Cornwall.
Liked the farmers market and street food. Same for the closing pic of low clouds/sunset/rain.
Nice easy going tour of a faraway town, thanks for yet another soft spoken episode.
Simply intriguing and brave...bendiciones...m

Ah Port Vila Vanuatu beautiful place cheers n beers Marty Australia
Great to watch and interesting as usual.
Excellent episode.
Barry, you have broken all the CZcams video rules, You have no Bikini girls, You're an old Sea Dog, You're a Solo Sailor, You only put out fortnightly and You don't have a sponsor. But yet your numbers are phenomenal, Your subs are exceptional, and Your views are wondrous ... It must be the honesty angle people like!!! Keep it up!! Stay Safe & Fair Winds!!
Thank you for the nice comment.
