is it ok to group the text box and the shape and add the link to create a button? or is it better or saver solution to add both the textbox and the shape?
I personally always add the link to both because, even though they are grouped, Canva will not open the link if the person clicks on the shape for example and you've added your link to the text box. So I add the link to both, then I group them.

Hi Faith, if you mean an e-commerce site, this is not possible in Canva yet. If you mean, a page to show case your products, you can create another website that contains the products. Get that website link and then link it to the product section on your link in bio. Hope this helps! 💖

Is there a way to take any template and convert it to a website template? I can’t seem to get the “publish website” button on many of the templates that say they are bio link but not in the actual Website template area. Thx!
@@TeamRonDi Thanks. I was able to copy all the design elements from a non-website link-in-bio template to a website template where I deleted all the elements … and that worked. I was then able to keep working and publish the website. 😃

Im not sure why, but all of this seems to be working except for the email link.. Im using my phone as a hotspot for my laptop because im designing mine while im on the road.. Maybe that has something to do with it? Is the email link problem a thing for anyone else???

Instead of inserting an url, type your email. The name of the sender I think will depend on the email they use to write to you.

Yes, you can do that indeed. Create another Canva website, publish it, and then link it to a button or element on a different Canva website 👍
