DCB speed boats were in full force and the big surprise this year was the big attendance by Wright Performance 360's power catamarans. Love the video, a video cut and edited like this is super helpful when trying to decide what model or manufacturer you want to spend half a million dollars or more with for a new build. Its one thing to see these boats sitting on a trailer on the manufacturers instagram pages, but a lot of the manufacturers don't show the boats performing to their abilities enough. So thank you for this video.

Pretty awesome - I like to think of all the jobs created to build, run and maintain such incredible machines. I say this because worked for the Boston Whaler boat company right out of high school & it paid for my night school college education.
Folks tend to forget that an entire industry sprouted up around powerboats.
This is some of the best footage of the shootout/poker run I have ever seen! Thanks for the hard work to bring this to us!

Ive lived in florida pretty much my whole life and Ive never seen a lake so beautiful before! Wow! I was in Cali recently and the change of scenery, the mountainous terrain, and the weather really have me wanting to move to the west coast!
It is a good looking lake, a bit desolate but that is where some of the beauty comes from. Take a trip out to the southwest during the summer, get a feel for the pizza oven.

Most impressive is the pontoon boat with the twin 300's
Except for one problem the helicopter can't go 183 mph. So how did you keep up?
On the dcb they have black poles on the lower unit what do they do?
They have cleaver props. The tubes provide air to the propellers so the boat can plan more quickly, they are surface piecing propellers and need air to go faster.
funny how strong the IO is on the west coast, sound bad ass for sure, but outboards are the way to go to me these new 400's and 450's are seeing some amazing #'s
We like loaping cams here on the west coast. Nothing sounds better than a built engine.
Awesome video as usual big man!!! It was nice talking to u when u did the livestream on Instagram during the street party! But at timestamp 3:50, that skater seemed like it had a weird hull design with the steps going sooooo far forward on the sponsons or each hull or whatever people want to call them lol. Do u happen to know why they go so far forward on this boat? Is it an older model and that’s why? And what part of the lake are u recording at? Thanks big man!
thanks Mark, sad i couldn't go live on youtube. no clue what the steps so far forward, but it seems the water comes in contact with. hopefully someone who knows can chime in.
That's our 32ft skater at the 3:50 mark. The new paint design makes it look that way. Its a traditional step hull. Awesome to see us ripping it! Great video!

Bring such types of boats to India also and arrange powerboat races here also.
@@kensi379 just bring all those boats to India and arrange the races as India has many rivers of about 10000 kms and also coast line of 7500 kms.
The chopper should fly a little lower so the rooster tail grabs it. Then it could be added to all the other Robinson crashes.

The cats are fast, but the side to side motion is way too bad. A deep V will bounce you up and down in the chop, which is expected. Side to side of the cats is just too much.
Nice video. But if you really want to show off bring it to the Atlantic Ocean. Where the big boys play for real. I know you Zip Zap know what I'm talking. Whole lot different than these little lakes. I was on Torch lake in Mi. Seen LOTO. Even Key West is easy compared to the real running.
I take it the Monster 50 from Hustler is a bust . I never see them at all.

That seems like a lot of money and trouble, to go less than 100MPH. Those guys need to buy a Kawasaki H2.
Most of these boats can hit up to 150 easily.

@@tvdinner325 Well, the one I was buying that looks like the one in the screenshot does 150, the new one I am buying does 130, and the one on my channel my friends boat that is also a DCB does almost 180. One of the videos I shot I'm in it.
@@FamilyFlippers Please show the proof of MPH. It's my understanding that 150-160MPH is a barrier. I raced/owned a Formula Thunderbird in the '80s. There was a barrier.
@@tvdinner325 It's on my channel, DCB M44, I am the one taking the video. Or you can also check here on CZcams DCB M44 or DCB M35 they have a few videos with the speed of 170 MPH maybe a little more.

MTI 440X is pretty cool, with twin 500R outboards, hits about 130-140MPH. But I like the V8 IO boats better !
It's so pointless. It really is. You could be enjoying a day on the water, relaxing, listening to music and swimming. This, I don't know what this is.
