OH MY GOD
I HAVENT EVEN LEARNED THIS SUBJECT YET IM 5TH GRADE BUT-
HOW DID I UNDERSTAND THIS SO FAST
Same I'm in fifth grade too, but I'm in an advanced class. Maybe you happen to be an advanced learner??
Me too.2k21
There's nothing special, Exponents are just repeated multiplication and any fifth grader will understand with enough explaining
Hello there where did you get the 256 base on the example in the number 2?
you basically do 2x2 8 times for example:
2x2=4=4x2=8=8x2=16=16x2=32=32x2=64=64x2=128=128x2=256 (hope that helped) :)
Wow
what if the exponent is negative
I am in 7th and learning 8th and 9th stanadard studies including maths
0:53
2:03
🐐
What if the 2 was also a power of the 3 which is already the power of x ?
Ur Video has helped me alot!
Nerd
I got this
0:12
can you make another video power of a power ❤❤❤❤❤
How do we do this with fractions? I’m so confused
How do you do it if there’s a positive exponent and a negative exponent😭
You probably don't need this context as you commented this 7 months ago☠ but if its negative and a positive then when you times both of them the outcome will be a negative aswell so for example if we had 3²) to the power of -4 you would do -4 × 2 wich would = -8
What if we remove the brackets? Which will we solve first
Even though you didn't ask me and this comment is 9+ month old it really doesn't matter wich order you solve it as timing is communitive this means 4 × 6 and 6 × 4 are the same so as we are timing the indices (the small numbers) it doesn't matter wich order we work it out 👍
Tbh you are better than my math teacher
Im in 2nd grade and understand this
How do i multiply (-3) ² × (-3) ³?
I think you’s use pemdas, so solve the exponents first then multiply
How did you get the 256?
It's because 2 to the 8th power is multiplied to get to 256. Or 2 multiplied by itself 8 times.
3 to the power of 5 lol my snap ai told me this Repeated exponents are called powers of powers or nested exponents. For example, (2^3)^2 is a power of a power, because 2 is raised to the power of 3, and that entire quantity is raised to the power of 2.
I don't understand why the 2 8 turned into 256
Exactly
He showed all the work that you'd have to multiply n shit to get it to be thst 3:50
2 to the power of 8 is 256
2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2😊
How do u get 256 by number 2 j don't understand pls help
es porque multiplicó el 2 a la octava potencia es decir que lo multiplico 8 veces
eg
Lol Im in 6th grade learning this stuff ✌
bro makes me fall asleep
Bro taught me how to do this in 4 minutes while my teacher told me for 30 minutes💀 bruh he’s so much better
