After all the work that’s been done at BD Performance a few weeks ago we finally get the chance to see if it’s any quicker than it was before. We’ve fitted a mongoose down pipe, performance RTS clutch and a new flywheel. We ran it last time on the Dreamscience Ultima 2+ map and this time flashed it with the Ultima 3. Only thing is the conditions are slightly damp. How badly will this affect our times?

The lower engine mount is causing the banging, it can't handle the remap, put an uprated lower engine mount on 👍
I think they had that problem on the fiesta st the mount slapping
Mountune uprated mount takes care of that
Yeah common focus problem. Change that rear engine mount. More grip and it wont bang
I have a stock Power RS with the mountune mount and it makes so much of a difference with even the stock power

I've uploaded the 3+ today and I thought I had lost the previous maps loaded onto the imap but its in a different section of the hand controller Jared at dreamscience told me. these guys are very helpful and I'm sure they will sort you out with adding the 3+ over 3

New clutch might be making it wheel spin more in the wet. Stick it in drift mode, do a few donuts and warm your tyres up before you launch it, well if you can get it to do it 😄

You need to get the over run map added it gives you permanent launch control,and adjusts the revs for the launch with the added bhp,I put it on mine and made a difference with the ultima +3

It should definitely be hitting 60 in second I get to 100km/h in 2nd that's about 62.
Ultima 3+ drops the Launch control by 1k RPM cause the extra torque is whats causing your clutch to stick. I had the same issue. Also seemed damp. 😂

Lads drop the tyre pressures to 25psi all round. U'll get better grip.
take it to collins performance for a proper remap.i think the generic maps on devices are pretty poor,but cp performance are rs masters,and im a vxr owner too..

Even if you find a day when it's dry it might not be faster. The air and road temperature has an impact on the tire performance. Summer tires just don't work as much below 5-7 degrees Celsius. So if you want to compare before and after try to find days when the road is dry and the air temperature is similar between before/after runs.

You not thought about changing the bushes like engine and gearbox mounts to reduce the harsh juddering as you accelerate hard

You could do with fitting a Roll Resistor (Rear Engine Mount) upgrade to stop it clunking on launch.
If your running the same boast before the mods,you have a pressure drop add a little more boast

When you get a dry day you’ll definitely get sub 5 seconds, but you could do with a lower engine mount on the car. Either that or just let Cookie Monster have a go😂

with the lc you dump the clutch and let 4wd do the rest, if you lift the clutch up you can slip the clutch, having mps4s on the back and only mp4 on the front is not helping the drifting, did enjoy the vid my tyres havnt worn a bit 😁 👍 cheers steve
