It's a song that can stretch and make room for multitudes - this reflective, gentle version is my favorite, and every other rendition mentioned here is worth a respectful hearing. Gaby Moreno is exceptionally talented and humble in gracing this low-key duet; and Chris Thile is the mandolin elf with Gandalf's soul and Bela Fleck's chops.

You hear slot of Irish singers sing this (zi think one guy Paul o'Brady does a excellent version)but I think Chris Thile really captures the sentiments of the song,!.
