That moment when mj asks if Garfield Spider-Man is ok and he’s holding back tears gets me everytime

Andrew sucks

I'm not gonna lie, a fly totally hit my eye during that Garfield redemption scene.
All dem damn flies. Always interrupting great scenes at the most inconvenient of times…
Yeah my allergies hit me hard during this scene too, my eyes bothered me so much it was insane. I kept rubbing them, definitely didn't help much.
Same
In my case, ninjas were cutting onions in my room
And I just missed the part where that's my problem!
Garfield's performance was so good they had to give him a third movie
Are you saying the third movie is No Way Home or that there’s an Amazing Spider-Man 3 coming? If it’s the latter, source?
@@sterlingroberts6240Obviously the first one, The Amazing Spider-Man series ended a long time ago.
@@skillful3055 it’s not obvious because there has been plenty of talk about Toby getting a Spider-Man 4 and Andrew getting an Amazing Spider-Man 3. The fact that they all came back for No Way home means it’s not out of the question. Couple that with the success of No Way Home, which was in large part because of their return, and yeah, it could absolutely happen.
@@sterlingroberts6240 Jeez, you don't need to write a whole paragraph about why you're right, you don't need to be so defensive.

I felt like Tobey’s Spider-Man just became really chill and sweet after everything he’d been through
Chemistry between the three is magical. They're like the Avengers of the spider-verse now. To me Spider-Man no way home it's just about the closest thing to a live-action version of Spider-Man into the spider-verse. I loved it 🕸️🕷️

*More than 100% Agreed*
That MJ Scene with Andrew to kind of replay the Gwen dying scene was immense for me.
I have not cried in a long time and that scene made me tear up, Great production by the team.
It made me wonder if fans were so mad, shocked, and hurt that Gwen died that they had to redeem themselves

andrew crying when MJ asked him if he's okay because he was able to save her from her fall was such an emotional touch
Wouldn’t you know it, it was Andrew’s idea to have that in the movie. Or so I read.
Gay AF is what it is
Sorry but no- it was a very girly thing for a superhero to do
@@GameChanger597 So...having emotions is girly...? That has to be the dumbest, most thoughtless bs I've ever read. A superhero without emotions wouldn't save the world from danger as there would be no feelings to drive that motivation.
@@Harmthuria Zendaya ad-libbed the line, because she thought, with MJ being in love with Peter, she'd be concerned about alternate Peter seeming to be upset. But Andrew Garfield rolled with and loved it and wanted the take kept in the movie. The crying was Andrew's idea.
The sound editing was awesome, too. The way the sound fades to nothing but a ringing sound -- it's what Garfield's Spider-Man would be hearing as his adrenaline spiked from seeing the worst moment in his life starting to be replayed in front of him. I say this from experience: in a really high-stress moment like that (in my case, it was having a gun pointed in my face from a couple of feet away) your hearing does some weird things (ringing in the ears, and the only other thing you can really hear is your blood rushing through your arteries).
Goddammit, two seconds of seeing Andrew crying after catching MJ and now I’m choked up
These behind the scenes make you appreciate their acting even more. Also anyone who makes films for a living is a badass.
That’s why NWH worked as well as it did. The love and care that went into making sure that Tobey and Andrew’s characters were just as respected as Tom’s was apparent from the moment they stepped on screen. They weren’t there just to go “hey, remember us?” and then leave. They played a crucial role in the plot while also getting to remind us why we fell in love with their versions originally. And what mattered was whether they could act like they all liked each other on screen. Luckily for us, there was no acting that needed to be done for that. The chemistry the three share, especially Tobey and Andrew, is off the charts. God I just fucking love this movie.
You put that exceedingly well! Totally correct on every level. It wasn’t just a hey! Remember us? That’s why you’re here! No, they were confused, and semi-confident, and came around. And even when they had to admit that they were NO good at teamwork, they could be open about it. That to me is a huge part of Spider Man. His total humility. And him being so young does enhance it, but it’s not why, just look at that idiot flash.
@@jackdurden466Exactly. Not toention, they all helped each other grow. Tobey and Andrew's characters got a lottle.mpre development in this movie, and it was beautiful. The movoe was outstanding, and I don't think a better live action Spider-Man movie will ever come to pass.
and just icing on the cake of the whole snergy of these three is that when they were first introduced to the idea. the writing team intially wanted to add more lore to what happened in andrew and tobey's respect universes, but the actors didn't want to overshadow tom in his own movie.
The hype was there when the trailers came out and the old villains were there. That itself made it clear we'll see three spideys together. And the brilliance in the writing part for me is they all gained something from this. Tobey got to save Otto and Osborn. Andrew saved electro and his closure with Gwen. Tom got to be the Spiderman he's destined to be. This is something more than just cameos. Which made the movie special so I'd say definitely worth the hype. Very very near infinity war & endgame level.
the funny thing is most of you guys fucking hated Andrew Garfield I've always loved him hes been my favorite since day one y'all love him all of a sudden now hilarious😅😂
Tobey did his own stunt and punched goblin again… epic 💯
Tobey as Spiderman is my childhood hero.
When Garfield/Spidey catches Zendaya, the look on his face unlocks my emotional barriers. He made it feel REAL and I love that he was able to redeem himself. this is my all-time favorite thing to happen in a movie. The guy has a face that needs no words to tell what he's feeling. Zendaya to, poor thing looked like she wanted to hold his hand and tell him everything is going to be OK. BOTH ARE SUCH WONDERFULLY AMAZING ACTORS...
I actually had to fight back the tears to his reaction when he caught mj!
Such a powerful scene, I loved it
Glad you were able to hold them back, because I just let them flow free. It hit so damn hard. The amount of respect Andrew got in the movie is on another level. I'm really glad they treated him as an equal to Tobey and Tom, because he deserves it.
@@yohumanfriskYeah, I agree with you a hundred percent. Also, I remember when I was watching the film in theaters at the scene where Andrew's Peter saved MJ a bunch of people in the theater started clapping and cheering. I cannot remember if I clapped and cheered too but I was very happy.

Tobeys spidey face upon hearing the green goblin laugh was pure terror and was so amazing
Tobey Maguire... Always my favourite

As much as I definitely want to agree with you, too much of a good thing could ruin the magic of this. I’d almost be fully on board but I think they went perfectly as far as they could and should have. Still, it was fantastic!
That last clip of Garfield catching MJ was the scene that Tom Holland exposed Andrew by accident in an interview 😂
Him tearing up and her asking if he's ok made me burst out laughing 🤣🤣😂 best scene ever

Toby maguire is the best spider man ever
The greatest cinematic moment when the three spidermen from different generations came together
I cried when Andrew said yes to Zendaya's question, "Are you okay?"
Even now it feels like I'm dreaming
His look when she asks if he is okay...
I lose it everytime.
He was able to save her this time.
Such an emotional scene.
Andrew Garfield, i really like his personality. He seems like a guy no one hates and everyone likes to be around. :3
When you respect the characters the box office overflows, are you listening Disney?
I think they are, considering they greenlit it
I'm more glad seeing Andrew's spider man get that kind of closure when I caught MJ.
Andrew Garfield is probably one of the best actors out there he is such an underrated actor
I just love how all three of them get along so well not only in No Way Home but also irl. Their chemistry is really great. They're just like brothers that would care for each other.
I really wish that Marvel gave the effects team more time
This movie deserved more polish
“A lot of freedom to create what we shan’t to create” Hollywood need to understand that.
She told me with great embarrassment comes bully maguire
When Andrew Garfield catches MJ, I can feel the surplus of emotion going through him
After this movie, there was no reason for happiness :(
Can anyone appreciate their stuntmans they are just giving their best for us to witness great action scenes
One of the stuntmen had to stand in for Garfield during the fight scene. The kept his face off camera for the final cut but he got to play out the scene with Tom and Tobey for the final cut of the scene they just used Garfield's voice recording for his lines there.
love it will never forget the hero saying
They're bros for life. I see the strong bond between them everywhere not just because they have to but because they want to

There better be an extended edition of this movie with all the cut content finished. Make it 3 hours long if you have to, just give us all the footage with the 3 Spider-Men and the villains. Oh and Matt Murdock as well.

Yeah I truly did not like the Ben Affleck version, but that guy, who I don’t know, seemed to have a very quiet cool and if played right could go very well! I loved the look on Toms face as he caught the brick. Priceless. And yet, Murdoch didn’t even flinch.
This is what makes your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man
Even though I grew up on Tobey McGuire and for me he will always be Spider-Man, I have to say I like all three of em.

Of the 3 Andrew should have been the last one to try to catch her but I'm glad he did. Shout out to redemption. I love you Emma Stone!!!
Toby Maguire will always be my hero! I was 8 when I saw the spider man in theaters. No one can replace him
I love how these actors can still display real emotions and beautiful acting even with the fake props and movie crew everywhere. I dont think I'd be able to do it for reals. This is true professionalism at its peak
Tobey’s Spider-Man getting a real moment with Doc Oc literally broke me. All I ever wanted for him was to be good again.

Oh that would have been an enormous mistake! It’s really amazing at how incredibly well so many of these films have succeeded! The ONLY one that I will NOT watch or buy, is Captain Marvel. I simply cannot stand that woman. And apparently from many interviews, neither can anyone else on the cast!
