- BUXTON is a spa town in the Borough of High Peak in Derbyshire, England. It is England's highest market town at some 1,000 feet (300 m). It lies close to Cheshire to the west and Staffordshire to the south on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
MATLOCK is the County Town of Derbyshire and is located in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales within the Derwent Valley. With the Peak District National Park only a few miles to the North, Matlock is popular with visitors enjoying the countryside and the amenities the town has to offer. The Town is twinned with Eaubonne in France and has a population of around 10,000 people.

Great vlog Geoff, first time seen one of yours and love your Yorkshire character :-D A pity you only had an hour in each place as so much missed by rushing through., though does give people a brief taster and hopefully drag them from in front the tv and get out and about :-) That beef and pork baguette looked delicious though think would prefer on a giant 'oven bottom' as they used to do them

Not far from Buxton is the lovely town of Bakewell we’re you’ve got to try their world famous Bakewell Tart yum. Mondays use to be the best time to go as they’ve got a market on
Nice old English towns, if you get a chance have a look at Barnard Castle , lots of history there. Good fish and chips also , cheers

Should've gone to Matlock Bath plenty chippies there it's like a seaside resort but nowhere near the sea. Good cable car ride aswell. Another trip maybe. Sarnie looked immense as well. Cheers Sir Geoff 👍

Only a mile down the road is Matlock Bath, that's where you should have gone. Lots to do there and plenty of fish and chips too!

Hi Geoff, if you had drove through Matlock you would have got to Matlock Bath. Lots to do there including lovely walks, shops, aquarium,cable cars and good chip shops too 👍 Nowt to do in Matlock unless you like antique shops 😂 LOL love ya Movies mate
