Such a powerfully annoited man that our father used in a mighty way for a short period of time. Once i heard him minister, i couldn't stop listening to him. Every day i have to hear him. I know what he meant when he talked about how the preachers and bishops treated him when he became ill. It broke my heart, but he realized why God allowed this to happen to him. Such a beautifull man. He left us in 2014, i didn't find out about him until this year. Bishop veron ashe, rest in the arms of our father. I love you.
I love this man of God so much.Many Clergy didn't understand his anointing. I'm so happy I experienced his teachings firsthand on several occasions. The Church lost a irreplaceable Archbishop when God called him home.

Bishop was a great man and touched many lives through the word of God which he always delivered with humbleness and grace. I will miss him dearly but the messages that he preaches we will all continue to learn from them. That brother can preach!!!

I would love to had the chance to talk with Bishop Ashe about his views on the Atonement. I would had loved to challenged his ideas on Penal Substitution and how the Patristic Fathers held to the Ransom Theory (Christus Victor). Makes me feel he got his training in atonement somewhere other than the E.O. Love Bishop Ashe and his insights.
+Shane Mason I think EO looks at atonement differently .. its been a while since i had a class on atonement ... but i remember there is ..there is an aspect of atonement i know they see diff... they look as salvation ans a process and evet ... vs ... other views that suggest its just an event... but Bishop Ash.. i someone that would not settle on one side.. but would hold any perspectives with biblical support in tension,, together... what are your thoughts?
***** I like the remarrying conceptualization!!! There are so many ways we can think about atonement. I remember, one of the guys in my class came up with REMAX theory of atonement. they talked about the concept of buying a house. ( this was a process and event conceptualization) 1.When you buy a house and you put down the earnest money and sign the papers, the house is yours - you own the house (salvation- we - sealed with the Holy Spirit, our sins are atoned for ... our spirit is saved. we are in God- and we have the first fruit of his presence in the person of the Holy Spirrit... ) .but you have to keep making payments ( this part gets a little merky if the payments are related to works.. because salvation is by faith... I would like to think of it as continually being seeking more and more of his Spirit, because by faith we are His and so we pursue HIM every day until we get to see Him) again .. our spirit is saved but are bodies aren't yet(event) ...2. when you make the final payment on the house .. you get the deed- On that day .. the house is declare your.... no more payments needed ...-- AND you get to enjoy the full benefits of owning the home- WE will experience the fullness of salvation/ atonement .. ... alll of creation ... including our bodies are redeemed when we see Him on that great day.. WE will be in his Presence.. experiencing the fullness of HIS Spirit) ( process) .. There are still some wholes in this.. i don't think any theory is perfect.. and somebody came up with that in a week LOL ... theologians have talked about this for years .. :) so i don't claim to have the answer .. but this is one way i like to think about atonement...... thoughts?
Challenge? Really? Bishop Ashe said it himself, "theology is not always right..... maybe poor definitions of God, but deeply in love with him" An adversary can only challenge. Are you an adversary?? who are you to "challenge" someone? The only one you should "challenge" is yourself. Get on your knees and ask the Father for his definition of atonement.

Matt. 26:28, "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." Mark 14:24, "...This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many." Luke 22:20 "... in my blood, which is shed for you." I really like this man's teachings! I have for years, but I will accept NO man's teaching that is different from the Word of God, no matter how smart and wise he "sounds". He missed it on this point.

I think that is what you are referring to but Rev 5 gives us a glimpse of what Bishop is speaking to. I believe the entire 5th chapter of Rev is John's vision of our day of redemption. The time period that Jesus died, led captivity captive, ascended to the Father and presented his blood for our sin. The blood belongs to God, not us. Without the shedding of blood, no remission of sins.
I don’t believe he missed it. The revelation is there. We can go to the Bible; grab and post scriptures to try and “prove” a point but out of context with no revelation. We shouldn’t be applying the blood over cars and material things. Jesus didn’t shed his blood for cars, houses, land, money, etc. The blood was shed for the remission of our sins. ( our lives, humanity) Let us study the word of God more to get the revelation.
Veron, is mistaken, on the trumpets.... if 4000 years is 80 trumpets.... 2000 more years would be 120 trumpets, The Lord comes soon, if his suggestion is correct, 6000 years post Adam would be 120 trumpets
I'm pretty sure he meant 120 as the overall total. Because he said 50x80=4,000 years from Adam to Christ so logically half of that is 2,000 years from Christ to present day. 2,000/50=40. 80+40=120 total trumpets/jubilees.
