Thanks very much. Hope you can do further videos like this. I wish you could do one showing how to remove the rest light clusters to change bulbs etc.

Matt I am using an MG5 as a Taxi.
I have already clocked up 15k miles and think the pollen filter needs changing. How do I do this please? I will get it annually serviced of course.
I also want to change the transmission oil.
I did that at 75k miles on my mitsubishi PHEV and the stuff was like aluminum paint it was grinding solution not oil!
The changed oil never even coloured up in 110k miles. So been as I expect to use the car upto 200k miles.

I've not yet had in a MG 5, but I suspect the cabin filter is in the same location - behind the glove box. Many Asian cars are like this and designed to easily change the cabin filters - unlike European cars were they don't bother and put then in the most awkward positions up underneath the dash.
Gear oil is generally easy to change but not yet done this on an MG yet as none are old enough yet.

The date of the filter may be closer to the manufacturing date than the registration date in the UK!

Easy job in any car. I change every year, also air filter in my combustioncars, is so cheap so why not do it often. Helps clear fog on windows as well
