I have a feeling that after some use and the aero covers get scuffed up by poor parking skills * ahem * that they might not be so aero anymore. That might be a good reason to keep them off until a long drive is expected. Is there any issue with driving without a centre cap? Just aesthetics? It also looks like it'll be easier to clean the disc brakes and access the tyre valve for inflation..
Hi Burl, do you know if the cameras can be used as dash cams or security cameras when parked up. Also could the ismart app be used as a tracker, just wondered 🤔 Great videos by the way, will pop in the Car tomorrow and try a few bit, I like the rear light idea 💡, Nick
You know what, they are OK. I have several vehicles, the best are the michelins on my Zoe, the next are the new Goodyear Vector 4 seasons on the Transit Custom. These are next, very close to the Goidyears, and the worst are a set of Charmhoo tyres that came on my Octavia Estate new when I bought it. They are predictably awful in wet conditions, but so predictable that you can actually have a lot of fun on roundabouts itlf there is no traffic around. They seem to be made of such a hard compound that there is no appreciable wear in nearly 3cyears of driving! The contis on the MG are OK. Not brilliant, but when the weather is really bad I tend to use the Transit anyway.
Are there any V-shaped scratches on your alloys, I know a few people on the mg4 forums are saying that their alloys have this V scratch on one of the spokes
Think I'll take the free alloy protection....
Now if we got the same alloys as the norway cars I might consider taking the covers off more...
Yeah, those Norwegian MG4 alloy wheels look much nicer than the UK ones.
Mk 5 and 6 Golf wheels fit apparently...
removed wheel covers first day i got car , and made some caps on three d printer.
What size centre cap is required for the alloys if you decide to leave the covers at home
The wheel centre caps are 52mm. Mk 5 and 6 Golf wheels fit apparently

None at all, just aesthetics as you suggested
I think the caps look better
are there any other aero cover designs/colors that you can buy?
Not in the UK as far as I am aware, sorry
Hi, do you know where I could buy these-thanks?

Not that I know of, sorry. The iSmart app does show the car's location though.
Yes of course, it was always there, how silly of me. Well that's a start. Cheers Nick
Are you happy with these continentals?

No, they were perfect under the trim discs.
Do MG make replacement covers?
If you damage them I'm sure spares are available from your dealership.
