Good thing that Fellow fixes mistakes easily. I used to use Seattle Coffee Gear for mail-order products. They don't do anything to resolve their problems. I use Fellow directly now. Merry Christmas
Great review! Dropped my Fellow Carter Move Mug while walking my dog and the lid cracked after the first time. Caution for the clumsy like myself!! Kept the coffee impressively hot for the 3 days I had it before dropping it. Would love a review comparing "drop test durability".

Have to agree fully, this mug is the best mug I've ever used. usually I get tired of one or another but time and time again this mug gets used. It even fell over in the car today and rolled around, no mess!

This is cool. I personally like the Yeti 10 oz rambler. It’s nice and small and just fits perfectly in my backpack 🎒 outer pocket and it’s small enough to go with me and keeps my drinks hot for a while. Long enough to enjoy 10 oz of coffee.

Zojirushi has a variety of products, including a tumbler (SM-YAE48) which I've ordered myself. This one in particular doesn't have a strainer however.

try vinegar on the stained steel (if the parts are, in fact, made of stainless steel).
whenever I wash my All Clad stainless steel pans, a strange residue is left behind.
a small amount of vinegar gets rid of it.
Add perhaps a tablespoon of vinegar and a bit of water, shake, and rinse with water.
Another issue might be that these parts are not dishwasher safe.
Did you wash them in the dishwasher?
Hi! A little bit late to comment but regarding the freshness of the espresso. Would it stay freshly brewed espresso taste after hours inside the mug?
Denture cleaning tablets work very well to remove the stains!

Nice review. Believe it or not my favorite travel mug came from an impulse purchase at Starbucks! I'm sure I'll never find it again! I think the real test for any mug is how it fits your cup holder ... as you pointed out.
Haha yes. Especially this year when I am driving a lot more than taking the public transportation, little things like "cup holder fit" suddenly becomes priority lol
funny enough the size I have in this mug is too big for my cup holders lol doesn't matter though, it's so spill proof
Cool thermos. I'm looking for one right now but I don't like drinking from a steal lip so I think I'll have to keep looking. Obviously this is just personal preference.
Ahh I see. Avoiding steel lips will definitely limit your options quite a bit. If keeping the beverage warm is not a must have function, then the keep cup could be a good option to look into.
hi, any update on how you cleaned the splash guard for your fellow carter mug? did the bleach work?
I purchased the Everywhere first and found that it did not fit the cupholder in my Versa. I realized that the Move also existed and just got one and there's really no downsides imo to getting the Move over the Everywhere. I guess if you like a really wide mouth mug then that would be one reason. But the size and splash guard of the Move make it much more functional without any downsides. It also comes in 8 oz. which is the perfect size for me.
Yeah I agree with you. The most common reason why people get the everywhere is because it will accommodate an Aeropress and/or a smaller pour over unit. But for me fitting in the cupholder and keeping warm is the more important factor. Hence why this is the perfect mug for me at the moment.

Do you notice a tast difference in coffe compared to ceramic or glass versus stainless steel of fellow?
Did you hand wash or dishwasher? It recommends hand but u just wanted to know if it survives the dishwasher fine.
to remove the stains - use normal white vinegar and it will be gone :)

Thanks! If pouring latte art is important to you, then the keep cup will be the easiest to pour in. As it is much wider and more shallow than the other two. The Zojirushi and the Fellow will be too tall to properly pour anything. Hope this helps =]

For fellow move mug we can put dripper v60 creramic or not?
If you mean to put the v60 directly on the Move mug, it wouldnt work, the opening would be too narrow. I wouldnt recommend brewing directly into a thermos due to stability concerns anyways. I would recommend brewing into a separate carafe or container.

Any odour issues as with many people?
No, not that I notice. I rinse them out after use, while there might be some scent left over after the wash, I haven't had issue with it remaining in the mug past a few days. Definitely don't affect the next drink as some other mugs that I have used.

Just be mindful of the difference between the "everywhere" vs "move." The everywhere mug don't fit most cup holders.
How easy is this to hand wash? Was considering getting this for portability over the Everywhere mug, but the Everywhere has a wider mouth.

It's actually more or less the same, I would recommend using the brush wand thing for either one of these mugs. If you aren't concerned about the cupholder issue, then both of these will work for you. The Everywhere is slightly shorter and have a wider mouth so some people prefer that.
are there reasons to buy the everywhere mug over the move mug? Or is the move mug simply an improved version?

The everywhere mug is slightly bigger and wider, so if you are not concerned with using it in your car then the everywhere might be slightly more comfortable to hold. Since they made the Move mug tall and skinny in order to fit the car cup holder better. Last but not least, the Everywhere won't come with the splash guard. Hope this helps =]

Thanks! I was not aware of this, will try it out. Though I expect it to be stained again so will probably do more of a periodical cleaning.
@@XICups get the powder and add a little water to make a paste then rub it in on the stainless steel. The pre-mixed/liquid version of Barkeeper's Friend doesn't seem to work as well as the powder imo :)

I honestly don't get why people like things like a zojirushi thermos. Why do people like burning their lips when they take a sip of coffee on their morning commute. Do people really drink 12oz of coffee over a 6 hour period? Lol just drink your coffee, don't preserve it like it's the last cup on earth.
The ceramic mugs are the way to go.
Pricing should be considered when doing these reviews in my opinion.

Nice looking mug. I just don’t like taking the top on and off to enjoy my beverage.
It's designed for travel, but when you are in the car you can leave the lid off and the splash guard does a very good job at preventing spills while in the cup holder.

I heard that people complain about Zojirushi in that regard that if you brew tea with leaves inside, the leaves clog it up. Can you confirm that?
