In this episode I'll be showing you step-by-step how to use acrylic paint to paint realistic looking fur using different brushes and different brush techniques for hair effects. After the base fur is done, I mix a special "natural" black and apply the spots over top.
In this example, I'm painting a jaguar, but the same effect works for any short-haired spotted animals. - Jak na to + styl

Hi Fieldey, this was really fantastic. The Jaguar looks amazing do you use acrylics for the base colours?
Yep! All acrylics :)

How may i purchase your paintings, please?
This is beautiful!! How long did it take?
I think it took 2 - 3 hours?
Can you do a tutorial please?
Your paint look so fluid and smooth. Is it fluid acrylic or soft body? I’m not able to achieve a long opaque fur. It’s always kind of messy. I don’t know how to describe it lol. Amazing work!
It's actually Golden Acrylic heavy body, but mixed with some water or glazing medium.
Fieldey TV: Art & Tutorials thanks for the answer! I’m gonna try heavy body paint!
What kind of paint are you using
I'm using Golden Acrylic paint
Welcome back fieldey!! I'm going to try painting a furry animal now. It's something I've always put in the too hard basket. Can you do a vid about starting with commission work. Did you push for it or did it come about naturally? And I would like to know how nervous you were. Also, do you come up with the design concepts yourself or do what the client wants? Oh, and if you've already done a bid like this - let me know! Cheers.
*vid.
Haha! Thanks Mama K! It's good to be back ;) I've already done this vid: czcams.com/video/lnu6CKS4ywU/video.html did it answer you Q's or do you need more info? Commissions came about from word-of-mouth in the beginning and then a lot of hard work after that, and having a good website and SEO ranking. For the concepts, I take their ideas and then re-mix it into something that I'd like to paint and I think would work well for them.
Bando de invejosos que negativaram vidro ....
