The character in this video was imported from Baldur's Gate 2, simply to make the spell casting and thieving smoother. In case you're wondering, she's a max level Fighter / Mage / Thief. - Hry
Awesome!!!!! Perfectly done. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect video. Thanks bud. MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!
Happy you liked it! You must've really needed to increase your stats ;-)
This is awesome sauce! Great job!
Well made video mate subbed and liked tyvm
i collected all the tomes throughout the 1 and 2 and made a character simply carrying 3~4 duplicating tombs and the decks to easily and quickly create a new protagonist character with all stats 25 and grow max exp within less than 1 hr.
I did that in less than a minute with EEKeeper
@@es-ed5ug It's not worth it if you use keeper lol
@@es-ed5ug Play the original doom 1 with cheat code IDDQD, or play starCraft with "Power overwhelming" you won't have fun... what is the meaning of playing games if you use outer source cheats? lol
@@esc7162 IMO, tome grinding for 25s in all stats isn't fun but to each their own
thanks!
Charisma is much easier to get than the Constitution tome, although the closest is Constitution and it's harder to miss thanks to Safana's quest. Much more difficult to get past the dryads and the golems and traps.
Invisibility potion, berserker.
i've gained all of the 6 tomes in both 1 and 2 and put them in one character, duplicate the characters to make another one character that carries all the stat books in the inventory to set up any new characters to get to 25 all stats...and one "Decks" item from watchers keep for exp, so literally with this one carrier character i can quickly make any new character with all stats at 25 and fully leveled up 😂
Thanks for a well done video - and not to hijack it too much but is there anything more satisfying than the xvart battlecry 'Ataaaaaaaaaaaack' and their deathcry 'Aaaaaaaaaaaagh'?
I think they should have let you get a book that gives +2 to all stats, which requires you to have all of the stat increase tomes, but you must trade all eight for it.
Would be sort of OP I guess :-) particularly for goody paladins who could never use the Wisdom tome from the BG priest. But fun idea
@@FlipsideMercury but you lose it if you export the character and you can only use it once per character and get it once per save game.
Show the value of your thief skills, please. I play solo with a multiclass mage / thief, but completely ignored the Move Silently / Hide In Shadows skills. But now I regret it, looking how easy your character goes into invisibility.
This is an imported ToB character, so the values are quite high. What you invest in should depend on your style: hiding can be fun to scout ahead, lure baddies into dark alleys before backstabbing them, or just running away. If you're wearing boots of stealth + shadow armour (which cancels spell casting) it shouldn't be too hard to reach 80-100 on both, at which point hiding should be relatively smooth.
That said, if it's just for running away or scouting ahead, as an MT multiclass you might consider learning invisibility (level 2). Alternatively you can find one of the sandthief rings.
Where i can find this Voice ? Its awesome... I
Do the items appear in your inventory after pickpocket?
Yes they do. If you're an arcane magic user with a cat as a familiar, you can have them pickpocket + ask them to hand over what they pickpocketed into your inventory.
how do you have cape? my multiclass only changes color whe I give him a mage robe
I lost this save file, but if I remember correctly it's an imported Robe of Vecna which doesn't exist natively in BG1. There's a few robes like that which give your sprite a cape and sometimes hood.
@@FlipsideMercury does it work in other way? or BG2 has all BG1 items?
@Kie Mugen BG2 does not have all BG1 items, e.g. Varscona and Cloak of Balduran come to mind. There are of course mods that provide continuity (BGT, EET).
@@FlipsideMercury thanks, I managed to fix it with editor
I guess the Strength one is the hardest to get because sometimes one point of difference makes a huge change
Yeah for a warrior type it's essentially saying "don't bother rolling 18/whatever, it all becomes 19".
Also, 3 tomes of Wisdom can mean a serious power-up for a Cleric or Druid, as you could get 5 extra spell slots in BG1 (or 6 in SoD), of which 2 would be juicy (for a Cleric) level 3s.
