Baldur's Gate EE - 10 easy ways to beat Sarevok

- A non-comprehensive guide to kicking your favourite Bhaalspawn's ass, presented in order of increasing convolution. No cheats are used at any time, but I reloaded a few times to get a cleaner video. The potions and spells I used can be bought in the city of Baldur's Gate and should be easily readable through pausing. Durlag's Goblet can be obtained in - duh - Durlag's Tower.
Specific methods covered:
1 - Fight them 1-on-1 - 00:26
2 - Go full tank - 03:21
3 - Spam Durlag's Goblet - 05:02
4 - Backstab non-stop - 06:42
5 - Set shitload o' traps - 07:59
6 - Play minesweeper - 10:03
7 - Summon and shoot - 12:21
8 - Make new friends - 13:51
9 - Paralyze him - 16:28
10 - Turn him into fluff - 17:39
I used two characters in this video (both named Fae): all methods except 3-4 use a max level Fighter with pips in Maces and Crossbow, while 3-4 use a max level Shadowdancer. Yes, I know meleeing Sarevok with a dagger-wielding Thief is stupid, but I wanted to illustrate just how OP Durlag's Goblet is. - Hry

just fought him, and he did not last 5 seconds LMAO. I drank every potion I had and used every buff spell I could. I thought he was going to be hard, but if you drink a bunch of potions and just rush him, it's easy, at least for me.

Just use Web, cloudkill and have the DPS characters use their most powerful attacks.
When I use the nymph cloak to charm it starts the dialogue and battle. What do i need to do differently for this strategy to work?
