I’ve had the BB/pellet guns throughout the years since I was a kid. I bought my first PCP two years ago. The difference between the two (modern PCPs and the Crosman and Daisy pellet guns) is night and day. And just in the last few years with the slugs and different improvements/technologies…it’s just amazing to me the accuracy and lethality these things have at ranges out past 500+ yards sometimes. As a firearms owner of over 30 years, many many rimfires and center fires in almost every configuration these new air guns are just amazing. Excellent video as usual. Awesome addition to the Diaries.

One of my favorite parts of your channel is getting to see your Toyota Hilux absolutely at home in the gorgeous African bush. We don’t get them here in the US, instead we get the more comfortable Tacoma, with no option for a Diesel engine. Also, Nicole is a fantastic camerawoman. It’s nice to see you guys happily enjoying the outdoors together!
I live in a rural community in Alaska. When I was 11 (1978) we used to bring our .22 rifles to school and leave them outside at the front door. The school would let us check out skis at 3:45 pm. We would head out on the ski trails and shoot Ptarmigan, rabbit and other small game.
As we got older we began to get our moose tags. We had 4 wheelers by then and we spent the evening out hunting. Watching you shoot offhand brings back those memories.
Great to see the people from the past. The air rifles are fun to see being so capable .

Another enjoyable vid. We used to gooi sliced tomato and onion in bread, put it in the braai rack, five minute on the fire, and made a lekker starter whilst you waiting for the vleis en wors.

I am really enjoying your videos. I also appreciate your character and hunting ethics, it's hard to find that in the young generation these days. Now I need to order an FX of my own. I had absolutely no idea that air rifles had gotten so good in range and accuracy. If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it. I'd like to set up like that Bronze one you used as well as which go-pro you used. Lastly, if you want to make an old man happy invite me on a nice weekend hunt with you. I'd fly from my home here in the USA to spend a few days or week hunting with you. Btw, great shot young lady, it's wonderful to see a LADY that also enjoys the outdoors. Wonderful.
