in assam also we say haakh to leafy vegetables ... its very nice to know the similar of northern and eastern region

Oh yes. When I moved to Delhi, I used to cook this recipe with the regular spinach. But nowadays, you can find haakh locally. If not, you can also try this recipe with spinach locally available.
