It's nice to see Thailand from an American woman's perspective. I lived there for a few years in the late 90's, including some months on Samui. It's common to see Western men in relationships with Thai women, but not so common to see it the other way around. Just started watching, and interested to see if there's a difference in how we adapt to cultural differences.
I love how you make the best out of every possible situation, even if it may not go as expected, you find a way to turn into something positive.

I enjoyed Vlogs about your beautiful family.. Like you, we both met our future Thai spouses when our life was going nowhere mentally and spiritually.. My sisters set us up on a blind date and never looked back. After the first date we saw each others constantly, I asked her to married me 7 months later after our first date. We have been married to each others for 28 yrs but fortunately we could have only child. Life is short and we don't take it for granted because never know what happens. Of the 30 yrs being together, we never been apart more than 30 days due to work or schooling. Don't ever go to bed mad, fight over money and always express your love to each others every day. Take care and please make more videos...

It's wonderful to see you embrace the people, culture, & environment there. You're a beautiful person & you seem so genuine to everyone you come across including your husband's family and people. I recently met a Caucasian American man & took him to an Southeast Asian indoor market with lots of vendors. He seemed like he was too good for the people and the place. He didn't want to touch or go near anyone nor did he want to try out any of the food or drinks available. It was a hot day so seeing that he was a bit apprehensive I bought him a bottle of water even though he refused all my previous offers for food & drinks. Needless to say after that meet & greet we cut ties. It's definitely a good sign when partners can share & embrace each other's culture & food no matter how different it may be. Makes life so much more fun & adventurous. Much love to you guys, new subbie from Minnesota :)

I’ve been watching your videos for a while because I have a son that lives in Hanoi with my 6 year old granddaughter. Watching your videos reminds me of being there with them.. I didn’t realize you’re from Maryland until this video. I’m from Maryland, as well, the Eastern shore. I haven’t been back to Vietnam because of Covid since December 2019. I was there right before the borders were closed. I’ve been there seven times and I sure hope I get to go back soon. I miss my son, granddaughter, and daughter-in-law a lot. I can feel that she loves & treat your kids just like her own kids, and she can be your sister too at the the same time. Please give her a shout out. It is so cool that I came across your channel because I am actually half Thai and was born in koh samui and sometimes lived in chumpon and koh samui I would go back and forth so we could see family but now some of my family has moved to phrae and some are still in chumpon❤️
