  • MW is a very active adult who came to our office interested in contact lenses. She had cataract surgery in 2006, 18 years ago. She had tried contact lenses 3 other times at other offices, and they didn't work. She had tried soft contact lenses but complained: "I don't get the clarity with them. I didn't feel safe driving a car." She had been a midwife.
She is determined and wants to try again. She had worn gas permeable lenses prior to cat surgery. she said: "I love wearing Contact Lenses because I have better acuity and a wider visual field. She las wore lenses in 2006. She has double vision when she wears Progressive Addition Lenses (prescribed at a different office, in Florida). Her goal is to wear Contact Lenses a majority of the time. We discussed various options and ultimately she decided on multifocal contact lenses so she could see the sheet music when playing the guitar. She is able to see 20/20 with each eye, reading is clear, and she is now able to see the sheet music to play the guitar. At the follow up, she said: I am doing great. I love them.
We are so happy we were able to help you see clearly and do t he things you love to do.
