Arsen, it works well in Bangkok or Pattaya. Maybe a few other cities. But most other places it would be good to speak a little bit of thai or Google translate. 😊

Which card do you use for your daily accommodations. Is it a Thai standard card or any master card or visa card can go ?
Accommodation?
I am a local Thai but never use Thai credit card at all for the last 30 years. All Thai banks issue Master or Visa card for local Thais to use free of charge if you are good credit-wise. BTW, I use MasterCard for the last 20 years without paying annual fee and the bank never gets any interest from me because I always keep enough balance in my account and pay the credit due full amount each month.

Silly question, assume you miss your stop and go past it... Are there crossovers (no card/fee) to catch the train going back or do you have to go through the process of paying a fee to get back on the opposite direction train for the missed stop?
Ofcourse just go out pass to the opposite side and take train back ... easy

Arsen, how to go to China Town by sky train from New Petchburi Road, Rajathevee ? At which station shall I alight? And how to proceed further from ? After China Town, which is the best place to spend the evening?
Take mrt to wat mankon station, after that take tuk tuk to khosan road enjoy

It rains but not all day , only an hour or two normally even in rainy season 😊

Good to know that does not last for days. Usually we do not see the sun for weeks at home. Couple of hours during the day of a holly rain is a good deal.

@@savvasbambos2669 I came in October last year for 3 weeks in rainy time. It rained every other day for an hour or two. Turn sunny again. Not like in the west where it can rain all bloody day 🙄😑

here's the deal, thailand like many countries the better you look getting along amazingly well with weak to none local language easy. all the advice learn thai for travel, shopping or talk to women is from dorky looking dudes. i breeze thru the day any place in country with about zero thai words.
