70s, 80s, 90s....southern gospel music was absolutely LOADED with so much talent, with artists who specialized in so many variations. Like it, or any of them and their antics, or don't like them, a LOT of people got access to the gospel of Jesus Christ through that entertainment and ministry style. Kingsmen, Ton of Fun, brought it ALL out there and just threw it down...awesome!
i had this cassette when i served over in germany. in the late 80's..i wore it out...it was awesome...then i came home to arkansas and saw them live in concert and then on my way to north carolina just a few weeks later...we stopped off at a western sizzlin to eat...and there we saw the bass singer Ray Dean Reese and talked to him...he was very nice
They edited out where they get introduced as the wrong group at first. But there's more in the introduction of the individual members than is on the cassette.
@@herecalico ty, glad to see people still listening to quartet music, I'll be 56 this year and I was raised on bluegrass and people harmonizing, I later moved to Kentucky for about 12 years and all these groups will come to our church in hopkinsville Kentucky I don't know what the kingsman ever did, but they were always a big favorite here in Virginia.
