I just got this laptop, biggest complaint i have is the 16gb isn't enough. i will be upgrading that soon. but other than that the laptop does really good. have noticed that when USB ports are used, the computer seems to slow down significantly
Im planning to get this from best buy tomorrow... i actually purchased the acer predator neo 16 but im planning to take it back. I dont like the build quality (screen flexes and seems cheaper than most) and also the battery life only lasts about 2 hours running photoshop on balanced mode. This laptop is only $20 more and it offers the 4070 card where the acer was the 4060 so i feel this is the better deal. Hopefully the battery lasts longer and the screen is better built. Thank you!
i hear ya, I actually just returned a lenovo loq I got for $600 (ryzen 7, rtx 4050, it was open box and the m.2 screw was stripped so i don't feel comfortable not knowing what the previous buyer did to it) so I'm back in the market myself@@jaywell8148
Just picked up this laptop for travel, at idle how much memory is your system using? I’m getting around 8gb used out of the 16gb. If you do any upgrades please make a vid!
I always go to "add remove programs" and I uninstall all the windows bloat ware. Only left the stuff I use and MSI programs. After that my ram usage at idle is 30% which is where you want it for a 16gb system.
How are the speakers? I bought a Lenovo Legion 5 and the speakers were just so quiet. It drives me insane. I cant find any info on this. Could you let me know?

It was on sale for Best Buy yesterday! I got it $200 off for $1,200. I think the sale ended up there are sales often!

I think you'll be satisfied with the build quality but battery life sucks on gaming laptops. For great battery life look at Macbooks or Cheomebooks.

max temp in my unit is 87-90 tested for 3H
im using without turbo boost and with low graphics, and its like 70 in battlefield 2042, 60 in valorant and the other games.

No, I have not. I go to advanced power settings and set hard drive sleep to "never" that might help you with your delay.

You have to open the msi app and go to the lighting customization section. From there you can change it to whatever you like.
