My son was in HMP Hewell. The long walk down . Is not an open prison . The open one is half way down. I did that walk for a long time . But the first time I went into the wrong one .
It's actually the open Prison Hewell Grange that is shut. The Prison that is still up and running is now called HMP Hewell. It was called Blakenhurst before changing it's name. When Hewell Grange closed, Blakenhurst took the name Hewell becoming HMP Hewell.
