Vader never believed he could defeat Palpatine on his own so up until Luke he did not view it as a real option. At the same time Palpatine could not find someone stronger than him so they were left in this weird state where pretty much the rule of two was compromised. I do think, if Palpatine found the secret to eternal life he would share it with Vader , since in time he really did start to view him as his perfect creation , an apprentice stronger than everyone else but unable to overthrow him. They had a weird relationship, both wanted to get rid of each other , but couldn't, so in time they kinda accepted they are sticking together for the long run... well until Luke of course.
That's a perfect way of saying it.
I'm still so surprised that this video even HAS people reacting to it haha Great Reaction!

It's amazing how the two children show almost no emotion/fear/anger/sadness! As I was at their age and only heard Vader's breathing... I got scared, really

You guys are such a lovely family, wish I had an entire household that was into Star Wars as much as I was, well that's not entirely fair, because I did have a step-brother that introduced me to a lot of the expanded universe stuff(which Disney dared to try to decanonize 😡😡🤬) but still, I was pretty much for intents and purposes outnumbered in my house when it came to Star Wars lol.
Family are the friends you cannot choose.....Sometimes. Thank you for your kind words. I enjoyed the Expanded Universe / Legends, annoyingly the majority of it fit into the time gap that the left anyway. Plus I prefer what was written to the films that have been produced.
Geeks of Mucklebee glad I’m not the only one that enjoyed Legends/EU better than the films. Would have liked to see some movies featuring Kyle Katarn, the Dark Nest Crisis, the New Jedi Order, the adventures of Jacen and Jaina Solo, the Yuuzhan Vong War, etc. plenty of material there!
