It'd have to be a completely independent operation in order to prevent history from repeating within 5 years, and GM would not accept that, as they've never accepted that (look at saturn's history). More likely they'd just use the name for marketing the same old garbage GM has been pushing the last two decades. I could see them making a neat one off sports car based off of the old Trans Ams or Fieros, but.... It'd be at Ford GT40 prices, and more likely it'd just be a shameless Corvette clone. Hell I'd bet if they brought Pontiac back they'd start with modern Azteks.... Pontiac has always been about lower cost sport cars and trying to cater to the middle class. Even with all the current requirements I could see a lower cost, bare bones (low on tech features, but with modern crash safety and epa) car, but I'm skeptical.

Love this!!! Might use this (or a cover of it) for a Transformers fan made short I’m working on! (We have a Yellow Pontiac Solstice that we named Bumblebee, and this song just fits perfectly!) Also, I might make a parody of this song, but instead of Pontiac, it’s Volkswagen! I like VWs so it’d be pretty fun to remake this song for Volkswagen!
