I have trouble fitting myself. I have an apron belly that sticks out between my waist and hip, then I have a bottom that sticks out dramatically where my belly gets somewhat flat again. I'm kind of awkward and makes very hard to fit me properly, in that area, which is the only area I have trouble fitting.
It is a challenge to self-fit. I highly recommend taking photos of yourself with a phone/tripod. This will greatly help you visualize the fitting from a head-on perspective. So many times in fitting, we have to take the garments off to pin them, then put them back on. It's constant work to try and get those pins/cuts in the right place.
This is excellent information and a wonderful introduction to fitting for my granddaughter who is learning to sew. I can’t seem to find the link to the blank “Ease Calculator” form.
