On June 1, 2024, the Derby Historical Museum held "What Really Happened in this Building," where panelists shared their favorite memories from working in the museum building when it was once part of Derby Public Schools. Speakers included Jim Reidel, Ron Brown, Tom Snodgrass, LeArta Watkins, Kevin Miller, Pat Showalter, Steve Wilson and Derby Historical Society President Butch Ewing.
