A Night at the Museum: McConnell Display

As part of the Derby Historical Museum’s 100-year celebration series, the museum offered “The Night at the Museum,” an alternative opportunity for anyone who had not been able to visit during the normal Saturday hours.
Derby Historical Society President Butch Ewing led the group in a guided tour on the various exhibitions. This video, which is one of a series, features the McConnell Display, offering a brief history on how the Air Force Base led to a surge in population growth for Derby.
This video was recorded on June 29, 2024. The history remains relevant and crucial to Derby’s story.
