dude i bought the season 3 or something's hottest hotsauce. at season 6 or 7 it was the 2nd hottest. said on the bottle "hottest hot sauce in the world without extract"... brought it to work, im a cook, and like 7 of us all did it. it was jack shit... it was easy, like all 7 of us were fine, we were like wait what? thats it? some of us just dabbed it on our fingers. it was hottest thing ive ever had... but it wasn't that much hotter. everyone is full of shit on here pretending its so crazy hot.

Gordon might turn more into the chef with attitude over the years I agree but his palette will always be a good indication of where you should go with cooking.

He doesn’t have to be tough. He has to have an accurate and sensitive pallet to be good at what he does, which is get perfect flavour. honestly I don’t even know what’s so tough about hot wings. The “heat” is your body responding to the chemical in the way you get a burn, so some people’s mouth reacts less and gets less inflamed than other people’s mouths. It’s more “I’m less allergic to bees than you so I’m tougher”
