I just bought my first Aston-drake doll. Which no matter how you hold her she coos and laughs and make other sounds. I think it five sound altogether. It make it seem more real to me.
My two toddler-like dolls are factory made...I couldn't afford a Reborn. But I love my dolls anyway. They are Adora dolls from The Adora Doll Company. I also have two Berenguer preemies. I love them too, but I have more fun with my Adora dolls. I liked your video! I could make out every detail of the dolls.
Thank you for this video. I think both of your dolls are beautiful. I think your reborn looks like a real baby. I agree with you, I enjoy collecting all types of dolls, factory, and reborn. I recently picked up an Ashton Drake doll at the thrift store for $10, and I was so excited because I knew she was worth more than that. I carried her home and I dressed her in real disper and baby clothes, she is so cute now compared to how she looked in the thrift store. I think there are huge differences between the two dolls. The Aston Drake is not real looking at all. She looks like a factory made toy. I would only purchase a reborn. However, not to be rude, I don't care for your reborn either.. For me, she is not my taste. That is why there are lots of artists making dolls. Thank you so much for making this video. Hiiii Tory!! Omg, I'm so early! This video was really interesting, I got my very first reborn (Laura by Bonnie Brown, painted by an artist on Etsy) around July and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE her!! I can't get enough of her and I love to watch your videos when changing her, bonding with her or role playing with her. You have got to be one of my favourite reborn CZcamsr's ❤✨😊 Thank you for making videos and inspiring so many people to be more confident or get their own dolls! 🥰 FYI: The quality of the video was perfectly fine, I could see all the details perfectly!
Thank you Tory, that helped me alot. But i need to decide if i want to part with my ilder Ashton drake doll collection to start the adorable reborns. Theres a couple i really like. I doubt i can ger much for them except to a collector who may want t 4 in the series of Emmas. I have the munature ones too and i am going to keep those a while longer. And yes the video was great to see the difference next to each other❤❤
I wish I could see a reborn doll in person. I collect Lee Middleton and then I have a few porcelain dolls. I did buy on EBay a Ping Lau doll. It creeped me out, lol! It was not a custom doll but factory. It was just too different from my Lee Middleton dolls. It also reeked of baby powder. Thanks for doing this comparison! 💖💖💖💖
Hi Tori I really love Honey! She is pretty close to the doll I would like to have. I have always liked the rooted hair. If I wanted that doll a little fuller, would I have to replace the cloth middle of the doll? Or would I have to stuff the doll like you had done in one of your videos? Thank you so much. You can find reborn dolls by many artists and sold secondhand by collectors on reborns.com DONT be scammed by many fake websites that claim to sell reborn art dolls for cheap. These are pieces of artwork and take lots of hours of time and skill for artists to create. If the price looks too good to be true, it probably is!! As for realistic factory made dolls, I recommend Ashton Drake Galleries, Paradise Galleries, Berenguer, Lee Middleton, Masterpiece Dolls.

Most of the “reborn doll” sites ARE a scam! There’s only ONE website so far that is a REAL reborn selling website. It’s reborns.com
