    bro just a friendly feedback .. when you are filming you need to try and stay put as much as possible or at least minimise your swinging from left to right rapidly. Some people get motion sickness really easily and your constantly changing direction was making me sick and i was trying to watch your video. thanks

    Easier and cheaper way, rev it, get the flap open, pull the fuse out… it’ll stay open always

  • @nappiral

    Open the valve with BimmeLink and then pull fuse 203 out of the trunk fusebox - it will stay open permanently.

    Hey is it true that the valve closes after you turn off the engine?

    • @keano9542
      @keano9542  Před 3 lety +3

      Yes, the valve will close or "reset" after you turn the car off. Was super bummed to find that out.

    • @keano9542
      @keano9542  Před 3 lety +6

      @M K So BimmerLink does not code, so when you open the exhaust valve with BimmerLink it will stay open as long as the car is on. But once you turn it off the the valve will close.
      BimmerCode however, does code your car but unfortunately, Bimmercode does not have an option for the exhaust valve to open or close it.

    You did a great video, but honestly, your BMW sound was better before opening the valve .
    After opening the valve, the sound was reduced by 25%.
    Maybe I’m wrong, but I washed twice your video at the higher sound volume and just noticed same difference.

    Does Bimmerlink work with after market exhausts? I recently had an FI catback fitted and I’m in love with it. It was pricey and now they’re wanting an additional $800 for the app just to open/close the flap FOH 😅. Bimmerlink seems like a better cheaper option but will it work is the question
