SYEDA TAKES A DRIVING TEST.
Unfortunately Syeda has failed her practical driving test a few times so, she decided to take a mock test with us so we could assess her driving.
As you will see in this driving test video, Syeda does make a few serious driving faults. She also tries the reverse parallel parking.
This test helped her understand the areas where her driving could be improved.
We hope you find this video useful. Good luck to everyone who is learning to drive.
Please like, share and subscribe.
Thank you.

She needs to drive an automatic then she can concentrate better. Too many gears for her tension span possibly?
How do I book mock test with you? I live in Leeds.
Did she ever pass?
I passed my test exactly a week ago with 4 minors, and the best advice anyone has given me is treat it like a normal driving lesson! Some examiners are chatty and some hardly speak. Don’t let their silence be mistaken for a sign of moodiness! Some of them like to leave you carry on and concentrate that’s all!
For anyone taking their test after reading this I wish you the best of luck 🤞🏼
I don't for some but i know for myself. On my first lesson (i drove a little bit a car in some stadium) and i really enjoyed it. On my exams i looked it not to pass but like another driving lesson or just to drive the car from point A to point B. Sadly i failed 2 times but it was mine mistake for not paying close attention. U know turn left, right go straight some time they could be lying but i just didn't payed attention and i entered a road that it was not permitet. Mistakes happen, but now i think i'm a little bit of a better driver and i'm on my edge of calling my instructor to drive a little bit to show him how much ive improven. The biggest change is i studied there in a car which u had to switch gears ( i always wanted to know how to do it) but right now i'm driving automatic which is a lot easier. Also u can pay more attention to the road, because you dont need to change gear.
Well done on passing your test, I passed mine in November last year. Have you got your own car and started driving yet? I got mine only at the start of February so I left it a while :) if you haven't, my advice is when you do, get a family member to come with you at first and drive to places that you will be going to often to get used to the route etc, it will be help when you first start driving by yourself. any questions feel free to ask :D
When i started driving after i got my license i was scared of driving alone. Also i indeed drove with a family member and i drove to places which im usually going without a car. Also my next big driving is going to be outside the city around 150km or so. I hope i will do well. I might need to take a brake from time to time before i got to my destination.
I’m not taking a test yet but I will keep this advice in my head thank u
Thank you
I think she's really nervous. And that makes a huge impact on whether u pass or fail
I have my test 10 years + I cried when I was going out for my test + passed 1st time 🙌🏻 I was soooo nervous but my examiner was lovely!
I may be wrong but im sure you said take go straight acroos this roundabout and the sister was in tbe lane that had a arrow pointing left only now ive pased my test but if there was nothing at the side of me and it was clear i would have gone for it only if was safe to do so.I DRIVE A HGV SO IF IM IN A PLACE IVE NEVER BEEN BEFORE ITS IMPORTANT TO READ THE ROAD I.E. THE ROAD SIGNS THIS WILL GIVE U A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THIS NEW AREA THAT UR IN AND MAKE UR JOURNEY A SAFE ONE
True. But theres no excuse for that lane change at the end.
Idk after the 4th time you shouldn’t be getting nervous still
@@PrOtaku123 agreed
I feel sorry for her... I know exactly how she feels learning to drive and feeling overwhelmed by it all. It took me five times to finally pass my driving tests after years of learning (on-and-off). Please don’t give up!
u mustve been bad af going 5 times b4 passing
@@TheZerozick asshole
@HarleyB123 yeah but like... 5 damn times bruh
@@FriendlyNeighbourhoodSpidey how many times did u take to pass yours?
TheZerozick not necessarily. I passed both theory and practical first time but I still consider myself a terrible driver and will probably take some refresher lessons before I buy my first car. Those who fail multiple times make the best drivers imo.
I just have to say huge respect to the guy in the black car as the driving student is doing a parallel park, as he waits for her to completely finish her manoeuvre before pulling of.
I want a teacher like him coz he is so honest and patience.
You ain’t gotta start the video like that😂😂😂

You really this guy?

I really this guy as well, it's insane

Im a full license holder of 27 yrs and honestly think the test is so hard compared to how it was in my day
My dad told me he didn't have to do a theory test and did a week long intensive course and passed.
It is hard because the amount of cars in the road is increasing so they need need to tackle this problem by assessing students harshly and severely so they is less increase on the number of the cars.
I took my license last week and i told my grandpa about it and he was surprised the test lasted for 40 minutes when took his test 60 years ago he only had to drive for 5-10 minutes :-)
Ballong Pappan yo I just took my test and it only lasted like 15 minutes
K . C did you pass?
She's got the main parts of driving in her head and has the potential to pass, but by what I have seen in this video her main issue is observation. She focuses too much on one thing and forgets about the other. Once she can sort out this targeted fixation, she will reduce the amount of faults significantly.
Passed first time but these videos are a great way to procrastinate
I'm sure u paid £2000 to train fully, not every1 can afford that much high price.
PAULO SERIF COUTINHO lmaoo definitely only spent 700£ soz
@@paulsp2693 it's not all about money, I only spent £250 and passed first time no faults.
Trust me first time pass was easy especially if you have an instructor who is good my instructor was taught me so many things even small things which made a big difference
@@mbrb2001 250 only?? I paid nearly £2700 here in Norway, and that's only with obligatory lessons..
I passed first time today with only 3
minors!!!! I checked my mirrors constantly and made sure they could see that. I even stalled before getting out the test centre 😂. My advice would be to anyone, to treat it like it’s another normal driving lesson and just have fun. It went on for 38 minutes but it will go quickly :). Also please do not panic if you get a grumpy examiner, it’s either just their way, but they’re all really nice and will understand if you need instructions repeated at any time at all. Don’t over think it! It will be fine I promise you! xx
Lucy Bow Congratulations and that’s good advice that you’re giving.
Agreed :)
Great! Thank you for your advice
@Lucy Bowden Thank you very much
My test lasted exactly 7 minutes lmao all I did was drive around the block and do a 3 point turn
Most of these mistakes come from not having the correct routine drilled in over and over first time. I'm a great believer in drilling, like a Kung Fu master practicing basic moves over and over. My instructor was good with drilling me. If I pulled away without checking the handbrake then we did nothing but pulling away for the rest of the lesson until I couldn't forget it if I tried. If we were supposed to roundabouts that day but I didn't position properly on a right turn then we did right turns until I couldn't do them wrong. This is the correct way the DVSA expects instructors to teach, and I still practice this method when out driving by myself.
This is the way instructors should teach students, there's no point just driving around for an hour making a few mistakes and then just doing the same thing lesson after lesson. You need to work over and over again on the things you are struggling with. Otherwise how else are you expected to improve?
She was in a new car in a new area, but, there were things that were very clearly avoidable and purely bad habits from previous driving schools.
It's a shame she's spent money on teaching that clearly hasn't worked but hopefully she'll get the help she needs now and pass.
I don’t agree with this. My first instructor when I started learning at 17 used to do that and I made the smallest amount of progress. I stopped after a while because it felt useless and I just didn’t have the money at that age to pay for all the lessons I thought I needed. Now I’m 24, about to take my test in a month and I’ve had around the same amount of lessons as the 1st time around. My instructor this time acknowledges the fault (if I haven’t already) and once we’ve talked about it, it sticks in my mind and it most likely won’t happen again. I’m now so much more confident when driving and I feel within myself I can do it where as my previous instructor made me feel incompetent by repeating the same stuff over and over again in the same lesson. Everyone learns differently I suppose though!
Ace Sul yes I totally agree with your instructors way of teaching, mine was the same!! I was lazy with observations once and on my next lesson I pulled up on the left and took off again countless times so I got it into my head that I needed to do them. During my first few lessons he would say “mirror, mirror, indicate” over and over when turning or switching lanes, even on my test I was saying in my head “mirror, mirror, indicate” 🙈😂 I passed my test a week ago 🎉 and test drove a car 3 days later, I still did all the correct checks as I would for my test because 1. It’s for safety and 2. It’s ingrained in me now
I agree with you
Honestly man i hope your channel keeps growing these vids are so useful for people who are taking their test soon

I’ve always had extreme nerves - where I literally puke from stress - and passed on my fifth time.
I felt so embarrassed each time I failed. I’m educated to degree standard and I just couldn’t deal with the driving test! I felt so thick.
But persevere.
F G how’d you deal with your friends gloating? I’m going for my p’S soon and I will find my peers judgement so much harder than not being able to drive by myself lol
Do not tell them about your test! That's what got me through the final driving test because I wasn't worrying about what others thought. @@mynamethog1151
tbh having a degree doesn't really mean anything lol unless your degree was in spatial awareness and hazard perception you can't really compare the two - I also have a degree - driving is an entirely different ball game my friend 😂 I have my test in a week and still haven't got parallel parking nailed. I have a good degree in comparative literature so I know I'm not stupid. I'm also a self taught artist and graphic designer, so I should be able to do co-ordination and spatial awareness flawlessly... and it's hard not to judge yourself harshly when you are a perfectionist and know in your head how something should be done and then physically not being able to execute it. But it'll come (i hope!) go easy on yourself
@@ImTash I remember the first time I took the test my examiner was a court judge or smth. (we have separate people as examiners that have to be acknowledged by the state) I was nervous as hell and failed. Second time the examiner was a hella chill dude which made me a bit too comfortable and being too comfortable caused me to fail. Finally passed the third time.
F G I’ve failed four times and I’ve been so mortified each time. My nerves are so so extreme, too. It’s literally making me depressed that I can’t seem to pass something that some people find so easy!
I hope I pass fifth time. I’m not sure I can cope with failing again.

She isn't ready for another test yet. Wouldn't cross the roads with her driving, no observational awarenes whatsoever. He is a great instructor.
Lmao 🤣
Feel really pity for this strong woman for her courage, i wish you good luck in your next driving test...
Love the videos, it gives an outside view of how a learner driver may think is right but may actually is wrong with examples and help other learner drivers in similar scenario's. I've got my practical mid-April, fingers crossed.
Passed today, zero minors, in a car I drove once, 10 months ago. Had only 11 1hr lessons last summer, after that, in lockdown bought my own car and drove over 6k miles and learned the rest myself.
Worth every second of relax and self confidence during the test. :)
Pin, Ask and Conquer Driving are my hero guys, forever grateful. ❤✌
I am proud to be part of the "watching after I got my licence crew" all the way from South Africa. These have been very very helpful. Thank you so much.
Why are these videos so addictive? I'm not even learning to drive! I will say, since watching these videos i've started to become a more considerate pedestrian.
Passed yesterday first time with 7 minors. Had 2 hours with my instructor before the exam, apart from the fact that my left leg was tired and shaking i felt the lesson went good. An advice i can give to someone is to make sure you feel confident with your driving, if you don't, don't waste your money. Exaggerate your mirror checking A LOT, check your blind spot 4 times before moving off if you have to, take time when changing lane on the motorway (don't just rush in front of a car behind you, you never know what they can do). Good luck.
I love the videos of mock tests. Got my test next Wednesday and this channel is really helping me in my preparation
Theses videos have actually helped me a lot especially with making sure I check my mirrors
same - i didn't know i needed to check my mirrors at traffic lights. I generally do it anyway because it's common sense, but i didn't know it was something you would get marked on. I generally need to check my mirrors entering roads more often. my teacher hasn't said anything so maybe i am doing it enough but you can't be too aware/cautious! got my test next week!

Very great video. Explaining your daily errors of a learner. She's extremely nervous and even the instructor is worried about her fast driving habit. Well done and I hope at last she passed. Never give up.
I don’t understand why people are saying she should do auto? How is auto going to stop her from waiting in the “keep clear” zone? None of the faults she made were anything to do with gears. This girl bless her is no where near ready for her test how on earth did her previous instructor advise her to go for a test when they knew she would be wasting her money? You have to be almost perfect at driving before you can take your test and there were way way too many serious faults here to say she was ready for her test. How can you miss a sign for 20mph?
kizkad you kidding auto is the easiest cause shell focus only on driving while in manual she have to focus on 3 driving operating 3 pedals and shifting gear
And In my country all women drive auto
She was rubbish at driving...Fast, inconsiderate, she acted crazy.
@@nqbalii4107 what country is that? It seems odd that you mention women, specifically women, when women are better drivers (safer at least, ask any insurance company). Smells like sexism and extreme ignorance to me.
If anything, even if subscribing to biological deterministic views of the sexes - women would be better at the multi level thinking and actions required for driving manual than males.

I passed my driving test back in November but I still love watching driving videos. It helps me continue learning and better my skills behind the wheel.
Now that she's taken a mock test with u she'll definitely pass her next test.
Great job
I passed my practical today 🙏 I did watch your videos before my exam they are very useful .
Driving takes lot of patience, which we don't see these days in new drivers. I hope she passed her exam with flying colors. I passed mine in first attempt; i made sure i checked mirrors, blind spots etc in my exam, because what matters most is how safely you drive so it's also safe for other drivers and beware of the speed limit, always. Good video for new learners!
Man I’m just happy I can watch these for fun now. Passed my test on the 4th for the first time, got my car on the 19th 😌❤️ Been driving it everyday. Parking is still a challenge for me but I’m getting there 😂😂
Passed first time but so glad there’s videos like these to help everyone. Wish there was some for me to refer too whilst learning how to drive.
Whatever you do, do not ever change your format of how you do these videos (well apart from the visual editing side of things like a slightly better font for the faults.. lol). I passed my test sometime ago but I still enjoy these videos and learn from them as they are a great way of assessing your own driving and what you might be doing wrong. The length of videos and the way you explain the faults is extremely helpful.
Thanks for the videos a huge help passed my test in Wolverhampton today first time with just 4 minors!
He seems so nice and reassuring, hes fab at explaining things in a nice way
For someone who’s passed in December I still find these videos really interesting and informative definitely cringe at some of the errors and it gets me nervous myself 😨
Great driving instructor. Giving positive praise when required to keep the learner confident in their ability to drive.
Driving test is a real experience on real roads with other drivers, you need to be prepared for anything. Paying attention and remaining alert will help you.
My driving instructor always asks me 'what's behind' or 'you know what's behind how can this effect your decision'. Observations and hazard perception are crucial for driving safely. I hope this lady took your comments on board and improved.
once again great video, I am genuinely memorised watching this, great instruction
Loving the mock tests. More please!!
All your videos are really good, it's helping me a lot for my practical test in 2 weeks.
Dear sister
You’re not the only one who’d failed the driving test,
I took my driving test in Camborne Cornwall in 2018
First time I failed with 9 minus faults 1 serious
Second time I failed with 6 minus faults 1 serious
Third time I forgot my provisional license & the examiner didn’t allowed me to drive
Fourth time I passed it with only 3 minus faults.
My advice to those who wants to take their driving test. Don’t forget always have your provisional license with you. & remember focus on your observations & speed these two are crucial. & as you know when you fail, it’s good because you will get a lesson from it, next time you won’t make the same mistake. Wish you all the best in your exam ❤️
I failed my first try. But srsly I paid alot to the instructors to practice like 35 hours, as I don't have a car or someone to help me to practice. I need to book my next test and go for more lessons. But I already paid alot of money almost 1750$. On one hand, I'm so disappointed and discouraged. On the other hand, I need that fucking licence for getting an engineering job in the area I live.
Is that ur sister whoa that’s cool
Roblox_Gangster
She isn’t my sister just saying
Ozgan then why say sister I’m confused
Roblox_Gangster
Sister meant respecting others especially people who’ve you never met
Failed my test because the lights turned from green to red and the examiner slammed the breaks on. Moral of the story always be prepared for a light change when it’s been on green for a while. -.- 😂
Did too 😂
It will turn orange first.
Peter Hop I genuinely thought that would happen too but on the pedestrian crossing with lights was very confused he did point out that for the next time look at below the traffic lights there would be a little yellow box that would say walk which would indicate someone was going to cross. I was kinda pissed off😂
Haha when I knew I fucked up at my driving test and I saw the stoplight going orange I gave full throttle, still remember it haha
She is driving fast that is why she can't concentrate
As soon as she started driving, I automatically found out that her problem is in controlling the steering wheel. Tbh, the steering wheel is the most important part when learning how to drive. Once, you learn how to maneuver/control the steering wheel properly everything else just follows and becomes easy. However, she could also work on her observation.
Great video, shows so much as how to avoid faults.one of the best teaching videos I,ve seen.
I passed my test today with 4 minors, this video really helped! Seeing the mistakes the driver made, made me make sure I didn't do the same

I’ve been watching your videos since I started my lessons on the 10th of December 2018, and I took my test today. I passed with 6 minors and can confidently say your mock test videos especially played a huge role in this, as I had only 16 hours of lessons and did not do any independent driving outside of lessons.
My advice to anyone currently learning would be to watch and rewatch these mock test videos. Pretend you’re driving on your test, ‘checking your mirrors’ etc and try to understand any and all faults made by the learner.
The test itself is nerve wrecking for sure, especially if you place pressure on yourself to pass like I did. I would definitely advise against telling anyone outside of your closest circle about your test date, as this will only increase that pressure on the day, you want to do everything you can to keep this to a minimum.
It really is true that the examiner is not out to get you. I stalled once when moving off, thought I’d failed very early on as I hesitated to pass some cars on my left as I didn’t feel there was adequate clearance with the incoming traffic, to which my examiner told me there was enough clearance after me waiting for ~20-30 seconds. I briefly waited behind some parked cars at a set of lights as I didn’t realise they were parked straight after missing a right turn, and thought this may have been more serious in the examiners eyes than it actually was. Forget about any mistakes as soon as you make them focus only on what’s in your control.
Thank you DGN driving school for the quality, entertaining and instructive content! I’ll miss watching these videos as I tell myself I’m productive not just procrastinating uni work 😂
Best of skill to anyone who has an upcoming test, send it!

Just do it if you really feel like you are ready, you have to go there with confidence

I was on a uphill t junction and I was instructed to turn right on this uphill t junction and the speed limit for the road I was turning on was 40mph and visibility was poor too,
I pulled out well but as I had to do this quickly I didn’t steer back quickly enough and some of the car crossed over to the other side of the road and I got failed for that - because of that stupid mistake I failed... Booked the test again at earliest availability so my retest is 11/03/19
