Hi there, this was a very basic modification I did myself. Mainly to ensure I could fit in the extra equipment such as the wave maker. Been enjoying the tank for about a year now with absolute ease :)
Hi, how did u find the conversion to marine? Was it difficult? Difficult to maintain? Also did u use anything extra like external filters or anything? Many thanks
Hi, it was a easy transition with lots of advice from the LFS and information on the Internet. As it is a small tank with no corals that made it much easier. We did not use any external filters or anything. The trick is doing the frequent water changes and keep monitoring your water parameters. Hope that helps ..

Did you use white sand as substrate? I heard it could cause filtration problem in biorb.
It can I suppose, thankfully I did not have any such issues.
